Very good Radio’s
These are very good Radios. The scan is very slow, but for the most part these are very good radios. I would recommend these radios to other people.

Hand held radios
I bought two and they're absolute junk. Can't understand anything when receiving.

Great value
We bought these radios as a replacement for Kenwood plant radios which are currently unavailable and over $600 each. These are a good replacement, especially at the price, but not perfect. The biggest gripe is that they take a second or two to pickup the signal, so the beginning of the transmission may be cut off. Just have to talk to everyone and remind them to wait a second before talking. Other than that, they were easy to program into our existing system ( be sure to buy the special programming interface cable to do so )Battery can go a couple 8 hour shifts before recharge, charges quickly, pretty good range inside the steel rolling mill that I work in. I’d recommend.

finally a radio that doesn't disappoint
Mostly frequent radio use is for driving rallies in remote areas where cell reception is poor/unavailable. in addition to the good sound quality and decent distance range, the earpiece element is an added feature that helps keep the radio in a secure location in the car while leaving hands mostly free for driving safety.I had one radio delivered that where a button didn't function properly, that seller replaced the item without issue.As mentioned in another review, there is a slight delay on initial "talk" mode, so delaying voice for a fraction of a second during transmission will eliminate any cutoff in the beginning of the transmission.Have used many other radios in the past and the results were problematic. We are very happy with these, highly recommend!

Great range, Great quality.
My husband is disabled and these have come in very handy especially when I am outside and he is inside the house. The sound is clear and crisp, great range, great quality.

Not what I needed
Unable to easily be programed for FRA operations

With multiple channels & frequencies, it was easy to adapt to our walkies at work!
Walkies are used frequently (almost constant) for myself & many coworkers to communicate across a large vehicle lot. I can leave the radio on for my entire 8 hour shift & never have to recharge it!
