Q: How long will it run continuously for

i check water level about every 3hrs[change ice packs they will have thawed by then]apart from that i run it 24/7 if needed

Q: could i add essential oil to the water

I don't think it is recommend, in the instructions I think it said water only

Please turn off your wind setting. Mine was doing the same when I first switched it on.

Q: How do you empty the water? I don't fancy cooling old water day after day

There's a tray at the back where you put the water in it just pulls out for you to empty
