The drills are hopeless. The instructions say to use them in reverse, but just don’t bother. Use a normal hss twist bit. Select the bit that fits with the best purchase in your drilled hole. Don’t use a drip to extract. I put the bit in a t bar and did it by hand to control the pressure and make sure it was biting. I just can’t see these working in a drill. I got my bolt out, but you won’t get many uses out of these. They might as well be made of cheese.

I bought these as one of those things you will probably never need, but is useful if you ever do. Then one day a neighbour needed some screws removing which had had their philips/posidrive heads destroyed by over-enthusiastic tightening.So my chance to try this out had arrived.Unfortunately, theory didn't match practice, and combination of drill/reverse screw just didn't work. The problem seemed to be the drill bits which didn't seem to want to ... well .. drill.Next time the opportunity presents itself, I'll try using an ordinary twist drill to do the drilling — and it just might work.

Poor quality, with soft metal and threads that don't bite.For me it made things worse rather than better.I purchased a better quality kit and the bolt was removed instantly.

Doesn’t work. Extractor doesn’t gain any purchase and the drill doesn’t bite. Don’t waste your money.

First time using and the screw extracta has snapped inside the screw I wanted out now I have half the screw and a snapped screw extracta stuck in the hole.

The drill portion didn't bite so had to use a normal drill bit.The left handed screw bit caught but the extensions sheared off. Both of them without moving.It was absolutely useless. Ended up dripping the bolt out and then just replacing the bolt.
