GOD is calling HIS people to be one, Jews and believers.

This is a beautiful, quality bible!!! Gave one as a graduation gift and it was greatly loved. I reviewed it and thought the same. I ordered another one for a birthday gift as well. ( update: She LOVED the bible!!)

I have this Bible on Kindle and as well as the hard bound book. I like to read it first before I read from the King James version. It has many words and definitions lost in the English translation and I am so pleased to know what was actually written. The Hebrew isn't outdated but the King James is. We don't say ye, thus and other old English anymore.

This Bible translation is a good resource. The commentary isn’t as frequent as other study Bibles, but it focuses mainly on hermeneutical content related to Jewish/Hebrew culture. People fail to realize how much Christianity shares with Judaism. Yeshua (Jesus) lights a menorah in Revelation, the feasts of the Bible are fulfilled in the Messiah, and Yeshua quotes the Shema (the greatest commandment) that first appeared in Deuteronomy, and much more.

First of all, this Bible is absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend it! It is a rich and deep experience that everyone should have while reading the word of God.Taking away, the one star was because the gold border was smudged away on the leather of the Bible when I received it.

This translation is very readable but continues with the reverence that is more common in older translations. There’s additional insight that I haven’t seen in other commentaries. Also, the New Testament as seen from the perspective of practicing Jews of Jesus’s time was new for me. Definitely recommend this translation with commentary.
