U-POL ACID#8 - ETCH PRIMER M.I.R. COMPLIANT

This stuff is nothing short of amazing Everyone likes to complain about the tips have used almost a hundred cans of this and never had an issue with one of them this stuff works wonderful

I use upol clear #1 on everything and I like it a lot. This is the first time I've used this etch primer on steel. 3/16"The tip on these is bad, I've heated the cans, controlled AC environment, humidity down, shaking can for 4 minutes, still splotchy out of the tip. That translates to pin head size drops on your material. I used this on a 3 piece steel bumper on the outward facing surfaces and I used rustolem etch on inside surfaces, the rustoleum spray tip is just better. It's hard to say that, but it's the truth. While the product inside is surely better in the upol, it won't matter much if you can't spray it flat. I've reversed, upol on non visible stuff and rusto on the front facing.

I bought my can in Sept of 2015- now summer of 2019 I’ve pulled it off the shelf and started to use it. It had been through all sorts of weather including freezing and hot summers. I’m impressed enough by its use and quality to come back and buy another. I had zero issues with the tip, so I can’t comment on what all the complaints are about.

worked great with the raptor bed liner for those hard to reach places that cant be sanded

Very expensive! But good quality.
