Surprisingly good
I bought these to be mid tier detail brushes years ago. Cleaning them is easy, and they won't fall apart. They have been working so well for me that I never upgraded. They hold a good point and load of paint. The 000 brush allows you to work on tiny details like eyes. I highly recommend them for miniature/model painters.

Great !
Great ! Not the best for real pros, but very good. Priced accordingly. Recommended.

Brush bristles frizzled up
These brushes are great for student art. But definetly not for professional. The smallest brush (hairs) became frizzled after 1st use rendering it useless. Haven't used the others in set get.

Good variety, I was expecting more tiny
It is a nice collection. However, I was expecting more of an emphasis on tiny brushes for fine, detailed work. I would say 3 of them are that kind of tiny. But the others are kind of big (if you are working very small).Bottom line: everyone has different painting needs. Make sure you look over the brushes carefully to make sure your needs will be covered. I should have been a more careful buyer.

I use these for hand pollinating species begonias
Works well for hand pollinating my begonia species. A quick dip in alcohol when I'm done makes them ready for the next time. They are holding up well, no hairs lost to my knowledge. The price was very reasonable. So, I am quite pleased.

Wonderful!
I love the way these feel in my hand. Very ergonomic. They also are a good quality for the price. I have painted lots of trees and very fine and detailed pieces with these brushes. Very very happy!

You get a lot of brushes but thats it.
So I bought these for painting my warhammer army and the quality just isnt there. If you want something to start with these work I guess but in all honesty just get yourself a size 2 windsor newton or raphael sable brush and be done as the points on these brushes kink after one use(i did clean after each use with masters soap). Also some of the brushes came warped and overall no good. You also would be better going to dick blick and getting a starter water brush kit for like $4 bucks.

Perfect for my gardening sketches. Easy to hold for arthritic hands.

Excellent Value
I model in 1:148 scale, and as a scratch modeller fine, good quality brushes are a must, also Bl787y expensive...so these babies are right for the job. Ergonomic handles, good trimming to the heads, and at a price for the set I would have to pay for just one of the more expensive models. These brushes are used daily and after 6 months, they are better than the day I bought them.Buying another set , just in case...and because I can afford them!

Bristles are too soft for painting miniatures
Grabbed these to test on my miniatures and unfortunately the bristles are far too soft. Probably great for painting standard art but the soft bristles means that the brush rarely holds its shape and they don't snap back to a neat point regularly.
