Very easy to deploy these in areas for which you want to discourage mice, such as closets and pantries. They each come in a plastic bag. I guess you could fully remove them and deploy but I preferred to just rip open the top of the plastic bag to let the scent out while keeping plastic protection around the scented bag inside. They seem to be helping. I deployed them in combo with electronic repellents after discovering mice in basement. I trapped a bunch of them then deployed these and electronic repellents and haven't caught or seen any signs of mice in over a week now.

We live rural and have problems with field mice entering the house. I was hoping this would provide an alternative to using poison as we also have pets. I was wrong. This product does nothing at all. The mice completely ignore it; it has no effect whatsoever. In one instance, we managed to find one of their nests in the basement and when clearing it out, we found one of the "repellent" pouches had actually been used by the mice as nest filler. Total waste of money. Someone should consider a false advertising complaint.

It took a long time to work and I thought the smell was strong but I couldn’t smell anything and it took a week for it to work

There terrible! Stank up my house. It smelled like moth balls. Didn't keep the mice away at all. Waste of money!

The pouches are made with real peppermint oil however, it was a joke to the mouse I was trying to get rid of. I put the pouch right beside the bag of candy he had already knawed into, and he went right back in the bag as if the pouch was never there.

Thes seem to work well.I hope they last a long time.
