Great Device
Even for those without tinnitus, it seems worth buying this little speaker which produces beautiful background sounds. The sound quality is as good as Alexa for nighttime listening, with the added bonus of working the an SD card, so it can work independent of Bluetooth, and accept your own soundtracks. The preloaded soundtracks seem expertly written and loop seamlessly. It is much smaller than I expected, fitting into the palm of my hand, but it also works on rechargeable battery so that's great for travel. I only wish it had a physical dial or display for selecting tracks, but at least it does remember your last selection.

Lacks consistent volume control; irritating high frequency noise
This is a nice compact unit. Unfortunately, that's all that's good. The controls are small and impossible to adjust in the dark. It took me a while to find a sound that was pleasant (running water), and then I could not adjust the volume low enough for only me to hear - it went from loud to nothing. In general low volume settings become electronic noise instead of tapering off. When I tried the chirping crickets at a volume that actually did go low enough that I had to put it against my ear to hear, my wife complained about a 'weird high-pitched noise' even though she was not aware that I had left it on. Sadly, it's going back.The worst of this - the item is DEFECTIVE, does not work as advertised, but I ended up getting only a PARTIAL refund, losing nearly $17 on the transaction. That is just NOT right! Vendor claims they tested it but did not see my issues - so it's my problem, of course! Hit me with a restocking fee and shipping costs. Buyer beware!
