Fruit leather, the real deal!I accidentally discovered a great way to get this wonderful dried fruit into non-sticky, easy to eat, melt-in-your-mouth pieces. I have always kept the dried papaya in the fridge once we’ve opened the bag. Then, recently, to slow myself down in eating it, I stuck it into the freezer. (It only made it better! 😮🤨😋)We found it freezes quickly. Frozen, it’s brittle so it breaks easily into smaller pieces with a mallet or hammer. We keep it in the freezer except when we’ve got it out of the freezer to grab a piece. Frozen, the stickiness is a non-issue when handling it. To eat the frozen papaya pieces it does NOT need to be thawed. It softens quickly and delightfully in your mouth. And Somehow it tastes even BETTER!! I think this is my favorite food ever.

This is some of the best papaya that I have ever had. Moist, sweet and chewy. There is no added sugar. If you are not used to eating papaya without added sugar than you may be surprised by how tough it can be. I’ve had some that was like chewing leather! This papaya though is fairly soft and very easy to chew. Will definitely buy again.

I guess I wasn’t aware papayas were so sticky when dried but they are, so unless you have hand wipes or have a sink handy your hands will need wiped after snacking on these. They taste amazing and I’m glad I tried them because I’ve been trying to find dried fruit with no sugar added so these were exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend this brand, they are tasty, healthy and sweet without added sugar.

I was looking forward to getting dried papya and so disapointed when I opened the bag...all you can smell is plastic. They hard and hard to chew. I don't recommend these to anyone.

Give a little piece to my rabbits every day, and they love it. Great quality, no sugar treat for them… and since papaya has papain, it *might* help with fur ingestion. And they love it.

The papaya spears are generously cut and taste very good. The reason I did not give it a better rating is that the spears I received are very hard and dry. I have to microwave them for a few seconds to get them soft enough to chew.

Delicious and no added sugar!This is the only brand that I found with no added sugar! Papaya is naturally sweet in my opinion and added sugar is not needed with papaya or any dried fruit!Be prepared to chew these dried papaya treats, but that should be expected of any dried food.Some strips are soft, and some may not be as soft, but they all chew easily if you have healthy teeth!I will buy again with 100% certainty!
