Purchased a grandfather clock at an estate sale, got it home, all set up and running. I thought it'd be a great idea to "store" the key inside the glass cabinet at the top. It was great until both keys fell through to the very bottom! I'd owned it 6 hours... Amazon to the rescue! I took a chance and ordered a Howard Miller key for my Heritage Heirlooms clock and viola! Less than 24 hours after my fiasco, the cabinet was unlocked. Bonus that the key also fit my secretary desk. I would not say it's an "heirloom" worthy key, but it did get the job done for a good price.

These keys were sent by angels!! My dad bought my mom a grandfather clock on there 38th wedding anniversary. My daughter was born the next month. With my mom gone 😔 six years already, my dad is gifting this beautiful sentimental clock to my daughter being born the same year it was received.My dad and I are visiting her in TN and bringing the clock. We wanted to remove the pendulum and balancing weights to pack, protect and put in my van. The original key immediately broke up in pieces as I turned to unlock the door. We were now in a panic, there was no way I could load the clock in my van with everything still attached inside without causing damage.For the hell of it, I decided to check Amazon and was shocked to see the keys existed and was able to be received. I ordered the keys immediately on Friday and sent a prayer that the keys would arrive by Saturday or Sunday.They arrived the next day, they were brass and I could feel how strong they were. Hurried over to my dad’s house and ta-daaaaa, they worked perfectly.Thank you! Thank you! The inside was removed, everything is protected, the clock is in my van, and we’re in our way to TN!!Excellent service!!

Keys were a little tight going in but worked as stated on my Howard Miller long case clock.

These are beautiful keys. I rated as a 3 because for my Ethan Allen grandfather clock, the key does not work perfectly. It does work, but not perfectly. My key broke and this one does lock and open, it just is not as smooth as the previous original key.

Keys did not fit the clock returned the 24.00 to purchase I got a return of 8.00 and some change will go to a differant place you should of replaced with the correct keys with a minimal charge

After I was finished winding up the grandfather clock the key dropped inside the locked cabinet with no way of getting it out . Amazon to the rescue . Ordered the keys, quick delivery and unlocked the glass cabinet was able to retrieve the drop one . Now I have a spare . Thanks
