What we liked:- Easy to use. Like a glue stick or lipstick, twist and paint.- Quick drying. Leave it a minute and it is dry to touch.- Thick. Dry colors don't blend and the paint is thick enough to paint over without bleed through- Easy cleanup. Even dried paint can be cleaned off hands and surfaces with a rub from a damp cloth, and it also washes clean from clothes.What we didn't like:- Limited colors. The yellow, terracotta, and orange sticks are very similar in color as shown in the photos.- Crumbly. If too much paint stick is exposed it crumbles like lipstick, this can be a problem if your child likes twisting caps as much as mine does!These paint sticks were great, and my daughter loves using them on her thick art paper, recycled boxes, and printer paper. The colors are thick and solid lines are a breeze. The sticks aren't designed for fine details, but make a fun and mess free alternative to finger painting with poster paints. We were mildly disappointed that three of the colors were very similar, but our choice of recycled cardboard box as art paper didn't help. There is definitely more difference on brighter white paper, but a vibrant red or brighter green would have been a fun addition.Easy to use, easy to clean up, with no worries about mess or spills, what's not to love? THese are an easy 5 out of 5 and I hope to find more colors soon.

The media could not be loaded.  This is probably our fourth set of Kwik Stix Tempera paint sticks and I show them off all the time. My children have finally FINISHED a coloring book. It's silly, but crayons and colored pencils take forever. These are a fatter size for smaller hands, don't smear or smudge as you color (my leftie is a huge fan of this feature) and painting/coloring is satisfying and easy. It's like coloring with lipstick - every kid's dream. These fall colors are nice and mix-up from our primary set or our glittery set. We've had a few like this from Ooly brand and I prefer Kwik Stix. They twist up like a glue stick and are so easy for kids to use. It's easy to evenly fill a larger space more quickly - so they make a great option even for older kids on posters or larger formats. They don't dry out like a glue-stick, but with enough coloring, they eventually do run out. We have had to rebuy some of our more popular colors (like black). Totally worth it.
