Oblivion: Hazard Online, Book 1

While I finished this story, I found it quite a difficult read. Every female character in the book is broken and messed up, almost every male is just as bad. The MC is basically raped within a the first few chapters, and literally raped after that.Things do get better at the very end of the story, with so characters toning down their issues a little, but it's such a dark set of people the book focus on that I really had to force myself through a few chapters. I do understand that some of the issues the characters are facing are explained in the story, but it did feel a bit much.However, the world is interesting and detailed, I enjoyed the combat and descriptions, and the opening battle really sells the world and the game, I found myself quite drawn in with the intrigue.I will probably read the second to find out more about what is actually happening behind the scenes.All in all I did finish the book,and did enjoy quite a bit of it. If you can get past the dark and broken people surrounding the MC, then there is an interesting story under it.
