Very slim design, works well with dimmable LED fixture
I recently installed a new LED fixture in my bathroom (over the toilet) and it was a bit brighter than I expected - kind of blinding when you go into the bathroom in the middle of the night. Thankfully the LED fixture is dimmable, so I tried hunting down a dimmer. When we repainted the bathroom, we replaced the exhaust fan, all the lights except the one over the toilet, along with all the switches and outlets. I installed brand-new GFCI outlets and Decora-style switches all around. I added a proper timer to the fan and was originally going to install a smart switch for the light over the toilet - to turn the light on and off on a day/night cycle. I quickly discovered that the electrical box for the switch to that light was extremely shallow - about 1-1/2 inches deep. It was a 2 inch box that they had nails driven through it horizontally. As such, a standard light switch fit just fine, but just about any smart device wouldn't have a chance. After looking around at home stores, I discovered that almost every dimmer available was 2 inches deep, at best. I was starting to think I was going to have to rip the box out of the wall, replace it and patch the drywall - more than I wanted to have to deal with for a lousy dimmer. Anyway, I discovered this product on Amazon and it's only 1 inch deep - perfect! Installation was simple, especially using my trusty WAGO Lever Nuts. I had it installed in maybe 10 minutes, including the time to kill the power and remove and reinstall the wall plate. The switch and dimmer work perfectly, although I did notice that at very low light levels, there is a slight flicker introduced when my variable speed furnace blower spins up and down - probably voltage fluctuations on that leg of my power. When the light is set at higher levels, it's not noticeable. The switch has a great look and feels like a quality device, although it doesn't feel quite as heavy-duty as I've generally come to expect from Leviton devices. My guess is that it's a "home-user" product as compared to the "commercial grade" products I'm used to. Still, it feels pretty quality.

Designed to work as a single pole or three way
Application for a single or three way worx either way with this. Amazing. Slide dimmer outstanding. Easily installed. Well worth it's price. Functional addition to situations needing variable light.

Solid Dimmer Switch
I have a few of these dimmer switches. They work great and I like that these can stay set in any dim position and just flip it on and off without changing the setting

Easy to install and smooth dimming.
This Leviton SureSlide switch was exactly what I needed at a low price point to upgrade my lighting. The installation was straightforward, and it works perfectly with my dimmable LEDs without any flickering. I’m giving it 4 stars because while it is more than adequate and very reliable, the slider feels a little stiff right out of the box—but for the price and performance, it’s an excellent value!

Not as good as it's slightly cheaper brother
I ordered this switch and the slightly cheaper Leviton R12-06633-PLW ( Leviton R12-06633-PLW Decora 3Way Slide Dimmer with Preset, Lighted Pad Option, White )at the same time. The cheaper switch is actually much better for LED's. I tested both switches with a series of three 75 watt equivalent Par40 LED's in the soft white spectrum. I find that this switch is not very precise, meaning that at any given position on the slider, the lights may dim to a variable level. For instance, at a given position, the lights may dim to 60%, but when you move the slider and put it back in the same place, it is 52%. Also, the dimmer functions with a sort of "soft" or automated looking action. When you move the slider, the dimming action is not immediate, and the dimming sort of chases the position on the slider. Some may find this to be a nice effect, but I don't like how it makes me feel like I'm not getting the right level of dimming I'm after. One other thing that should be noted: with this switch, my LED's do not come on at the same time. With the other switch, the lights all illuminate at the exact same time, every time. I was happy to find that I notice no *flicker* with either switch. I appreciate that this switch will function on a two switch set up, but people should note that any two switch set-up with a dimmer can only have one switch as a dimmer (the other switch can be only on/off). It's also nice that the switch included the necessary wire nuts. Finally, one should note that there is a tiny little switch above the slider (which gets covered by the faceplate) which allows this dimmer to be used with either CFL or LED/Incandescent. I still need one more switch for a third bank of LED's, so I will definitely be ordering the Leviton R12-06633-PLW ( Leviton R12-06633-PLW Decora 3Way Slide Dimmer with Preset, Lighted Pad Option, White ), NOT this switch.

I installed this dimmer to control a chandelier fitted with 5 LED bulbs (LVWIT B11 LED Filament Bulb 4W E12 Candelabra Base 3000K Soft White 40 Watt Incandescent Bulbs Equivalent 420 Lumens Dimmable LED Light Bulb 6 Pack). I can confirm that this combination works perfectly. There is NO bulb flicker and NO buzzing noise from either the bulbs or the switch. The slider controls brightness from 0% (completely off) to 100% (full brightness). EDIT/UPDATE... I ordered a second switch to control a fixture using 4 Amazon Basics 60W Equivalent, Daylight, Dimmable, 10,000 Hour Lifetime, A19 LED Light Bulb. I confirm this switch works perfectly with these bulbs as well. 2nd EDIT: EDIT: some months later now, LVWIT B11 LED Filament Bulb 4W E12 Candelabra Base 3000K Soft White DO flicker noticeably on low switch position - this combination does NOT work.

An electrician friend kept getting annoyed at my lights flickering in the basement. Told me to change the dimmer and recommended this one. Good value for the price and has worked really well. Had it installed for about two months now. Good product!
