Great for group Bible study!
I absolutely love the Immerse Bible. It’s so easy to read, and NLT translation makes it understandable. I introduced it to my church as a summer Bible study. It turned into 2 separate groups, all saturating themselves in God’s word! I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this has been! The easy questions that we use each week lend themselves to deep, rich discussion. Not only are we learning awesome biblical truths, we are also building community within the church. I highly recommend this for anyone who would like to get a small group Bible study going…in your church….in your neighborhood, or literally anywhere!

Easy Read
Usually I struggle to get through the Bible. This book makes it easy! I almost forget I’m actually reading the Word of God; it flows so nicely. Reading the Bible in this format helps me to take in more of the Word and begin to understand it better. I actually get excited each time I sit down to read it!

An interesting way to read the Bible
This is a great way for anyone, and particularly new Christians, to read God's word.It is NOT a study Bible. But it does bring God's word to light in a fresh new way. Having studied the Bible for 50+ years, I very much enjoyed reading it in this new format, laid out like a regular book. I learn something new every single time I open God's word, and this time did not disappoint.

Bible as a story
This book does a great job of making the Bible feel like a true story. The way it’s written makes it so easy to read through it and have it flow like any other book. Great Bible for anyone who has trouble reading a usual Bible that has the verse/chapter/etc break ups

Formating is solid
This is a great readers Bible. The order of the NT is a little all over the place but it makes sense as you read through the Bible. I really enjoyed reading the Bible as a normal book with no footnotes or numbering or sections. No distractions, just the Word.

A wonderful way to enjoy God's word
I bought the Kindle version of the New Testament. I like the format for reading rather than studying. I agree with the other reviewers that it's easy and enjoyable to read. That's why I chose it and also why I prefer the NLT. I'm not sure if I will buy the Old Testament.

Great way to read the Bible
The New Testament is presented is a novel format without any chapters or verses. It feels like you are reading a regular novel. Note that this book only contains the New Testament books. The books have also been reorganized based on the author and timelines, so you find it in the traditional order. I really like the NLT translation for the easy reading. Planning to complete my Immerse collection.

Readibility
I was recommended to the Institute for Bible Reading by a friend. They had a fascinating idea. In a sense a Reader's Bible is not new as there are the ESV and CSB version. But this is in 6 volumes. The entire Bible was also arranged not in the way of our current, shall I say, traditional book arrangements. That's radical and a game changer.I have started reading. I like the short intro at the beginning of each chapter. I like the help to read Messiah over 8 or 16 weeks. It makes it manageable while at the same time giving options to those who might want to read ahead.About the translation. I have not really read NLT. My concern with some of the newer translation is that it loses the language of say RSV that I grew up with. Hence, I have always enjoyed ESV as it reads like RSV. I would not hesitate to recommend Messiah and the others in the series to friends. But let me finish reading Messiah first.

Great for studying!
I love that this tells the story in order of events instead of the order of the separate books! It definitely does not replace the bible, but is great for learning to piece the bible together a bit more!
