Put this in your toolbox. Lots of uses.
This tool is a huge timesaver and worth every penny. I attached it to a telescoping camera tripod (tool comes with mounting holes) and used it to install over 20 shelves of various sizes on 6 walls in my basement entertainment area. It was so fast lining up a shelf while on a ladder. I wasn’t constantly reaching for a level to check for level and plumb. This tool’s finest moment was while putting multiple small shelves that were “stacked” on top of each other up both walls of an inside corner. Lining up all the shelf brackets vertically up both walls so they were perfectly level was actually enjoyable because it was so easy while standing on a ladder. All the shelves came out perfect and looked seamless from wall to wall. Using this Lazer level was so much faster than putting a level on the wall and putting tick marks where each screw and shelf bracket would go. Easily saved me hours of time. Very easy to accomplish with this tool with the illuminated level and plumb lines. I used it to install the shelves, sconces, dartboard, big screen tv, electric wall mounted fireplace and wall cabinets. I can assure you everything in this room is level and plumb, lol. I use it as much as a conventional level now. I mounted it to a 5 foot telescopic camera tripod. This helped a ton because it kept the lazer level in one spot and all I needed to do was swivel it to the wall I was working on at that time.

Great tool! (with some limitations...)
My wife and I live in a house that is +100 year old with a detached garage. We recently renovated the main house and found some of the original walls in the house are not nearly plumb, but at least everything is level after a new foundation. The garage needs work and is about 4" out of plumb on one side and about 5" (in the opposite direction) on the opposite wall. This laser is auto-leveling and helps us resolve why things look off, usually because they actually are... so we may actually stand a chance to compete some (minor) garage work in a workmanlike fashion. For the tool itself: Pros: - Easy setup: turn it on and set it down. - Easy storage: comes with a soft case. - Easier to read: with a bubble level, everyone seams to have their own definition of "level" and every level has its own tolerances (big bubble and/or big center guide marks). This takes the guess work out by providing a concise laser line that would be interpreted the same by everyone. - Fast: the laser level finds level AND plumb at the same time. There are also fewer marks on the wall, therefore less clean-up, since I can leave the laser up while marking other measurements. Considerations (not really "cons," but findings): - Not visible in direct sunlight (though green laser shows faint in shade/indirect sunlight). - Takes a few uses to get used to the laser aspect, especially when using in tight spaces (ie. hallway or closet) since it easy to block the laser when trying mark locations on the wall. I ended up with some interesting crouches and wrist angles at first. Tips: 1. Buy an adjustable tri-pod! The laser level has a screw base that works with most tri-pods. If I only need a rough height level, using the steps on a ladder is fast and easy. 2. If using outdoors (and not in a time crunch), set it up in the evening or at night for a greater chance to see and mark the laser heights outdoors. With everything marked, come back the next day to make noise (cut/drill/nail) based on the marks from the evening before. Good luck!

Nice item
Works perfect and does what I need. Works best if mounted on a tripod to stabilize the auto balancing. Buy a tripod if you dont already have one.

Great for hanging level frames
I bought this laser level so I could do a wall of multiple levels of frames. I knew it didn’t come with a tripod and I’m cheap so I was able to use a ladder and stack boxes to get the heights I wanted for each level because of the auto-leveling feature with ease. I dropped the level a couple of times in the process and it held up fine. It’s definitely worth the investment.

A good cheap laser line maker
Does not work at all in bright sunlight so you’re gonna have to use these at night time if you wanna see a straight line

Sharp Lines, Solid Magnetic Base, Great Value for DIY Laser Level
I picked up this RocKSeed cross line laser through the Vine program and put it through its paces on a couple of DIY projects around the house before writing this up. Laser levels are one of those tools that look straightforward on paper but vary wildly in actual field performance, and I wanted to spend some real time with this one before passing judgment. First, the basics. This is a self-leveling cross line laser that projects both a horizontal and a vertical line simultaneously, and it also supports a rotation mode where you can lock the pendulum and tilt the unit for plumb or angled line work. The self-leveling range is rated at plus or minus four degrees, which is generous enough to handle most surfaces that are not dramatically unlevel. The leveling process is fast, quiet, and reliable. When you set it down on a surface and power it on, it settles into level within a couple of seconds and holds steady without any noticeable drift. The laser lines themselves are sharp and bright. I used this on an indoor wall project in normal ambient room light and the lines were clearly visible at distances out to about twenty feet without any difficulty. Outdoors or in very brightly lit environments you would want to use the included tinted glasses, which are a nice inclusion. The red beam is a standard green-alternative option for a budget-friendly price point and performs well for interior use cases where you are not fighting direct sunlight. The build quality is solid for this price range. The housing is hard plastic with a rubberized grip section that gives it some resistance to drops, and the unit feels dense and well-balanced in hand. The magnetic base is a feature I genuinely appreciate. Being able to attach this directly to a metal stud finder, a metal door frame, or any ferrous surface while keeping both hands free for marking is a significant workflow improvement over tripod-only setups. It ships with a small tabletop stand as well, which works with a standard quarter-twenty tripod thread if you want to elevate it. The mount and stand setup feels stable and the adjustability is more than adequate for standard wall alignment, tile layout, cabinet installation, and picture hanging tasks. I used it for running a level line across an entire wall for a shelving project and it saved me a lot of time compared to doing it manually with a bubble level and chalk line. Battery life has been good. I have used it across multiple sessions and the batteries are still going strong. The auto-shutoff feature helps conserve power when you inevitably walk away and forget to turn it off, which happens more than I care to admit during involved projects. For a DIYer or someone doing light professional work like tile setting, furniture installation, or general carpentry, this is an excellent value. It delivers accurate, repeatable lines without requiring significant setup time and the self-leveling mechanism works reliably. Highly recommended for anyone who does regular home improvement work and does not want to spend several hundred dollars on a rotary laser setup.

Handy, useful, worth the purchase.
Not sure what I did to hang stuff before this, but I know that I won't do that kind of work anymore without this. Easy to use, solidly built, a household-handy item to have. Set it down on something adjacent to your working area, or a tripod it you have it and you're good to go. Green laser is bright and easy to see. Laser levels itself by being on some sort of internal plumb or pendulum, clever. Battery should last a good long time if you're not using it every day.

Prima compacte groene kruislijnlaser

Great value and accurate
Great little device, looks dead true when lined up with a decent spirit level. It made a fast job of getting a TV mount level, line up the holes, mark, drill. You will need something to hold this level at the desired height, if more than 4 degrees off centre the laser flashes to tell you to adjust to get the auto levelling so you can’t just tilt it up or down. I have an old photography tripod and that works great giving it a new lease of life for something useful, the device has standard 1/4 thread as used with photography mounts. For the price of £20, it pretty much paid for itself with the first job, defo a time saver for a job you can do with a spirit, it’s just easier :-)
