Ultra-Fab Products 48-979013 Skid Wheel

I own a 39'5th wheel with a 10' garage. Unfortunately the RV only has 2 axles. When pulling out of a step road/driveway the back bumper scrapes the pavement. I but these on the frame near the back bumper now they hit the pavement and roll not the bumper. After 3 yrs of use one did deteriorate, I replaced both. (We live full time in the RV)

Just received the skid wheels last week and wondered what would I attach them to with one and a half inch long bolts. The half inch diameter of the bolts was correct but they need to be four inches long to attach to most cross braces for hitch mounting brackets. I had the four inch wheels mounted but blew one of them and decided to go with their big brother. They look to be of a better quality and certainly are more substantial in weight.

My husband mounted these under the back end of our motor home. They keep it from scraping the cement when we drive it in and out of our sloped driveway.

Not able to mount on rv without the steel mounting plates which measures 1/2 " by 4 1/2 " by8 5/9 "If possible please send me the mounting plates. Thanks, Raymond Cardiel

Well most of the views pretty well described what would happen. Took 1.5 hours to install due to wide support beam. Took 10 minutes and 4 miles to destroy the wheel. Had to stop on side of busy road to remove wheel before it completely shattered and went through somebodies windshield. Installed according to the "right way to install" instructions (why do they even picture the "wrong way" but as a customer option that voids warranty??)YOU MUST ABSOLUTELY INSTALL THE METAL PLATE AT THE BOTTOM CLOSEST TO WHEEL OR IT WILL VOID THE WARRANTY, instead they add it in small print in the body of the written text.Yes , I installed in properly and it still failed. Now to go through the return process and the search for a stronger wheel. :(
