my belt is a total of 75 inches long. the macrame portion is 29 inches long with an additional inch on either end where the ends of the macrame are bound before becoming the fringe. the fringe is plenty long to knot or tie in a bow. there is absolutely no odor to this belt (see previous comments). i plan on customizing the fringe ends by adding contrasting beads depending on what i am wearing the belt with. i got the khaki, perfect neutral color and the belt is a great deal for $8.99

We had a “Groovy Golf Guest Day” and the macramé string belt was very 70’s hippy chic! Combined with the daisies on the cart and hanging mirror balls we really looked the part. THANKS
