One of my grandsons is mad about basketball. He is eleven years old and a very, very good player.I bought this book as part of his Christmas present.. Initially I was unsure about it as I thought he might not be interested in some of the facts as he is very much an outside 'doing' boy who doesn't like being contained inside. However, he was thrilled with the book and spent hours poring over it absorbing facts and information happily.His mother was amazed as she hadn't seen him sitting on the sofa engrossed in a book as far as she could remember.This is an outside boy, remember!For any child interested in basketball, this book is a must.

This is a very nice book for an older child. I got this as a gift for a friends son. He only reads about basketball. It has a lot of information - teaching you how to play, about player and much more. He really liked it so it’s a win from me. The only thing I didn’t like the page quality. It was very thin.
