Heavy Body Acrylics by GOLDEN, Cobalt Blue, 2 fl. oz. Tube, Professional Acrylic Paint, Semi-Transparent

This was the first tube of high-quality yellow paint that I have bought and the pigmentation on it is fantastic. You only need to use one coat the other stuff that I was using I had to do either two coats or use white paint with it.

Color is beautiful. I am new to acrylic paints and use them on a gelli plate. Golden paints, while more expensive, are so gorgeous. They have a beautiful finish to them that other less expensive paint’s don’t have. Highly recommend … wish I could buy every color!

As an artist who uses a lot of reds, I have found that GOLDEN Heavy Body reds are the very best! They are worth their weight in GOLD!!!!!! If I run out of Golden reds and have to go to some trashy hobby store for paint, I inevitably end up placing my face in my hands while I have a mini-breakdown as I realize that they do not stock it. I can NOT afford to run out of this paint, so I always try to keep extra tubes on hand. Golden is the BEST!

Color is great. Quality product and company. I usually use the "Open" product line but use this for toning panels with shorter drying time. Amazon needs to think about its handling of tubed paints in the warehouse. Delivered with a "cut" in my tube. Possibly when they cut open a new box of tubes at the warehouse? This couldn't have been damaged for long as acrylic paint would have dried in the tube over time after exposure to air and the paint was fine. I didn't request a replacement tibe because I have extra empty tubes so I was able to recover the paint. There was minimal paint transfer to other items in the box thanks to the bubble wrap or air pockets or whatever they are. For individual tubes I might start going back to local art stores or ordering from art suppliers online. I haven't had this problem with boxed sets from Amazon, thankfully.

If you need to paint something to look like it's copper this is the paint for you. Quiet translucent, mixs well with other paints.
