Always Reliable
Our Doberman loves to eat our remotes and luckily we have found the perfect replacement! There is no pairing necessary. Simply swap the batteries and you are ready to roll! Quality had been consistent with the 10 I probably had to order. LOL

Did not work well
The remote never worked right. You have to push the buttons so hard to make them work, it takes 3 or 4 attempts to push a button EVERY time. It's obvious that it is refurbished. The description should state that.

Volume button doesn’t work
It was relatively easy to program; however I never could get the volume button to work. That was very disappointing because I wanted to replace my old remote because some of its buttons had stopped working. Now I’m stuck with two remotes; the old remote just to control the volume. Also, the channel button sticks and is hard to navigate up and down.

Easy to program
The DIRECTV remote is a pretty simple remote overall but I was concerned about how easy it would be to program it to my TV. Not a concern at all. Works great and it was easy to program.

remotes DONT PROGRAM
remote doesent and wont program.. read the instructions that dont do anything. cant get it to work half the time. still need 2 remotes to get tv to work.. this must be a OLD OLD remote thats not up to date.... how do you get away with selling junk.. im gonna wind up sending this remote back, and using the old fashioned one. it doesent program either.

This is functional but the lever buttons ( volume/ channel) are super tight. The battery cover comes loose easily
