I was looking for something to keep our butter fresh and soft (and to also look cute on our countertop and I am very happy with this purchase. Along with looking nice with our kitchen decor, it's nice to have soft butter at the ready for breakfast, baking, and everything else in between. It's easy to add butter to the bell and easy to remove for eating.

La verdad pensé que era un poco más grande, pero tiene un buen tamaño para mantenerla en la mesa todo el tiempo, que es lo que queríamos. La mantequilla se mantiene fresca a temperatura ambiente tal como se describe.

For all the Naysayers (and there are very few), do not pay attention to any of them. They are all WRONG! In fact they have no idea of what they are talking about. Of course, the butter will not be as soft as if kept on the counter, but counter kept butter goes bad quickly and is unsanitary. This butter dish will keep your butter fresh indefinitely as long as you keep water level to the water line as indicated. I change the water with cold, filtered water at least once a week. The butter is kept fresh, soft-firm and easily spreadable. It does not get any better! So, to the few Naysayers who tried it and gave it less than 4 stars, go back to hard butter or keep it on the counter, let it spoil and Cry us a River! BTW, only clarified butter can be kept at room temperature safely for an extended period of time.

Tolle Geschenkidee. Qualität ok.

I love it but it isn’t big enough to hold a whole pack of butter. Still brilliant though xxx
