Grasslands Road Villa Cherub Girl Birdfeeder Statuary

This is the third time I’ve purchased this statue. Twice as gifts and once for me. This one is a gift for a dear friend whose mother just passed. This little angel will be a focal point in the memorial garden I’m putting in at her dad’s place. My dear friend is also a dear, dear person - she left her home and career to care for her parents in their own home. I hope this little angel will help both she and her dad smile in remembrance of a very strong mother and wife.Now, on a practical level for anyone considering purchasing this angel statue: assuming its manufacture has not changed, it is pretty darn durable. I have done nothing to further protect this statue from the elements and it has held up quite nicely for the last three growing seasons. It stays out year round and has never been taken in regardless of the weather. It can get fairly harsh here in the Northeast. Aside from the normal everyday weather conditions, It’s been through tornados, macrobursts, ice storms, hail storms, severe snow storms, sub zero temps and 100 degree temps with close to 70% humidity.The pic I’ve added shows one of my mini-gardens, around the middle of this year’s growing season, in which I placed my little angel. She was purchased, from an Amazon vendor, in 2016. This pic was not taken for the purpose of displaying the statue so it doesn’t provide much detail but it is a candid so what you see is what you get 😊.The Amazon display picture is slightly different than the actual statue. The display pic shows only one bird on the angel’s skirt. There are two birds, one on each side of the skirt.

UPDATE 2 Years Later. This is still all I stated in my original review below; however, the original, while looking exactly the same, came with 2 birds, one on each side of the skirt/feeder - and it was a bit lighter in shade. While it doesn't make a true difference to the absolute beautiful design of this magnificent piece sure to add a loving warmth to your porch, patio or garden, the 2 bird original was a bit more charming, as was the tad bit lighter color. That being said, I still give this most wonderful piece 5 stars hands down.This is a spectacular statue. I bought it to stand at the tip of my mother's memorial garden and the entire garden came to life once placed. It's absolutely beautiful and so well made. A beautiful addition to a garden or porch, even for your home. UPDATE: I bought a second one as a backup for the future, that's how lovely it is!I've bought 4 of these over the years for several reasons, though ALL as a memorial to my beautiful mother RIP. On Christmas night (last night) my cats literally knocked it over on the porch and beheaded it! I'm heartbroken. The company doesn't seem to be selling or even making it anymore and it's hurting me deeply, with no way of reaching the seller. Does anyone know how to reach this seller or anyone who's selling one? It's my mom's piece on the porch. :-(

This is a nice quality angel,however it does not have a place on the back to hang it up like I had originally thought because it is a bird feeder.It is still a fine piece.... it stands up on its own just to let any one know who is thinking about purchasing it.It is a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but I still like it and will keep it.This angel is heavier too so it shouldn't tip over outdoors.It also has nice detailing too.I would buy it again.:) It is nice enough for indoors too.You could put silk flowers in the spot where the birdseed goes.

For something made to be outdoors you would expect durability. It sat on a carpeted floor for a couple of weeks until we decided where to place it. The birds tail was cracked on arrival and is now broken off. It's very small and no birds have eaten from it yet but it was a gift, so I kept it.

I just received my angel last night. The delivery was quick, and she's such an adorable, tiny addition to my yard! She's light but seems very durable, and the detail is wonderful. Overall, very much worth the price!

Beautiful little statue. This got knock over 3 times & no damage. Just great. I have to find a safer place for the bird feeder, does not hold very much food. But a very good looking statue garden decor.

She is small but stunning! I have had this cherub in my cart for months now and finally decided to gift it to myself - so glad I did. My dog finds the bird food more of a welcomed snack than the birds and that's okay - I knew it wasn't very large because I measured. If you want to use it more as a feeder, I'd elevate it. However, I like it as is just fine and haven't seen a prettier cherub around. Wish it came in a series with a variety of sizes because I'd have to have them all!

This statue was smaller than expected, definitely not worth $80. Also, I had to pay $20 out of pocket for shipping to return . Not a good experience overall.
