ECR4Kids Cutting Edge Ultra-Grip Retractable Utility Knife - Heavy Duty Box Cutter, Red

I purchased this item at a good price (before the price raises)! This large utility knife was sharp enough to cut thick felty-alike furniture pads, what I needed it for specifically. It would be easier and safer to use if it has a lock, so the blade would stay still when cutting-running back-and-forth. Also, when I received this item, the packaging was ripped off broken, felt like someone tried to open to use.

The blade is super sharp and seems to work great at first. Unfortunately, while cutting very thick cardboard, the blade would "stick" in the cardboard and then a large portion of the blade would just pull out of the handle (not broken, but like I had extended it - but of course, I didn't). It's like the teeth in the handle just don't grip very well. To complete the job, I had to keep one thumb firmly on the tab you use to raise/lower the blade. It made the simple job of cutting cardboard much more dangerous than it needed to be.

This cutter works very smoothly. Have been using it for a while now. Does not lose sharpness even after repeated use. Would recommend as a utility and general-purpose cutter

These are not mean for kids. They are pretty large! Works great.

I bought this less than a month ago and was happy using it until I noticed the right top was chipped. Since it was within 30 days I requested a replacement (shown in the picture). This time I checked the item and saw the same issue. I am going to keep this since I paid $2.91 at the time of purchase, less than a month ago. Today the price has gone up to $10.22! Price has gone up almost 4 times! Other colors are selling at 2 times my price. Obviously profit margin is high.

Not a bad blade, pretty affordable and stylish. Sharp as well and seems well built. Would buy again.

For the price I didn’t expect these to be great, but they are!

I purchased a new product and was sent a used product. Handle was scraped, blades had been used, piece you snap off to get to extra blades was gouged from being previously opened. Very disappointing!!
