This worked great for our stand alone ac unit and seals nicely to keep the heat outside. It is adjustable which is great so it can fit any window size. Overall I highly recommend this product and the price is great as well!

Read other reviews and ordered some weather stripping to go with it. Put that along the top, bottom, and sides of the window adapter. Closed the window, then used the provided weather stripping on both sides of each seam so they overlap. This way i can still open my window on a cool night without a bunch of tape to remove. Would buy again. Sturdy.

For some reason, a window vent panel was missing from one of our portable a/c units. I looked for it and stopped when I got frustrated in the 90+ degree attic. I got this one and had to say that it fits better than the one that it replaces. I did struggle attaching the vent to the window panel, but I see that as a good thing as it will definitely say in place! The hose was very easy to attach. Due to poor HVAC ductwork by the builder, we have a unit in the two bedrooms and my office.

Hi this product does fit my window size. However, the hose or hole. Does not fit my machine. So now I have to find a person to cut the right size out. To fit my adapter hose. I am going to keep it because the metal piece does fit a 36width window. I just wish the hose piece can fit it. people do your research for your products. This product was offer by the company I bought my portable AC from. They did not look at it right. For there equipment. So you all do your research too.

Worked perfect for my windows!

Our window is 19” and there is no way to create a seal while leaving the exhaust hole open because all panels are 17”. Either we have a 2” gap or the home is totally covered, so it is effectively useless.
