Solid, Well Made Amplifier that Parasound is known for
Ordered this Amplifier on December 21st and received on the 24th (Christmas Eve). This was fantastic and unexpected... So unexpected that I didn't check my front door until the morning after and was shocked to see the box. The scary part is that it had sat overnight in 10 Degrees (F) weather. It was VERY cold to the touch and I let it warm up for several hours before attempting to power it on. Luckily everything seems to have worked without a problem to this point.I wasn't expecting it to sound any better than my previous amplifier because no amp SHOULD sound different aside from maybe tonal quality, unless one of them is poorly made. And it didn't sound noticeably different but did seem to be effortless and clean. I purchased it for an upgrade in RMS power, extra set of speaker inputs, and hopefully quality that will last for decades. So far it hasn't dissapointed. It's pretty hefty at nearly 30 pounds but not too heavy for your average shelf or audio rack. Has several nice features like a High Pass Filter, Impedance switch, Front Panel Lockout, Input and Preamp or Subwoofer Output. Some of the Cons include no remote and no volume control other than some gain adjustment dials on the back of the unit.I'm hoping Parasounds reputation for quality products holds up for at least another decade. :)1/17 Update: Had an extra pair of old 6 Ohm Sony speakers that I combined with my 8 Ohm mini NHT satellite speakers. Using the extra set of speaker posts provided to run 4 speakers with a subwoofer. It is a pretty amazing experience and the sound is really impactful without any noticeable distortion at very loud volumes. I have the amp set to the 2-3 Ohm speaker load setting and it is barely even warm to the touch. Really the only negative I can see is a faint buzzing noise when the amp is turned on that wasn't as noticeable with my previous amp. But not that big of a deal.

Parasound 2125v2 higher quality & runs cooler than expected
Parasound 2125v2 high build quality. Setup options for load, bridging & crossover all very easy to configure. Driving 2 pairs of AR Classic 12 speakers that are below 4 ohm with high phase angle & amp actually runs cool to the touch. Very smooth sound. Crisp transients. Compares well against 200 W/Ch Adcom Amp that is more than double the size & runs hot with same load. Recommended.

Ok for home theater buy from authorized dealer ONLY
Bought while waiting to get amp repaired. Has a nice sound quality but is heavily lacking detail. Would work well with home theater but not worth the $900 they are charging today. Better off buying a recapped adcom 555 or Hafler which i did. No Comparison to either. Note: Be sure to buy parasound from authorized dealer or warranty is void!

An excellent amp
Cool running amplifier. Does not cause any sound in the speakers when it clicks in. Good sound quality with a pair of Vandy 2CE sigs. Plenty of power. Well worth the price.

Solid performer!
The media could not be loaded. I have used it daily for a over year now. Paired with an emotiva pre-amp plenty for driving klipsch Rf-82 ii’s. I was super nervous about buying it… I was a great decision.

Very clean power. 4 ohm stable in mono mode.
Love 8 or 4 ohm in mono power.

One bad apple. Parasound is still awesome
Parasound gear and especially their amps are truly wonderful but this one was a dud. I got this amp at a discounted price here on Amazon and I suspect it was really a B Stock or an amp that had known issues already. In my system at least, it had a definite hum and no amount of cable switching made any difference. I tried several different circuits and the problem was consistent each time. It was in the amp.I would highly recommend Parasound gear anytime and just think this was a bad unit that has been floating around out there. I noticed other vendors sales tickets on its original box. I do wish that Amazon could control these a little better but the seller did take it right back without issue.
