led kit brightened up garage significantly
This led conversion kit was easy to install and were way brighter than the fleuorscent bulbs I previously had that ran off a electronic ballast. All you have to do is turn power off, cut the wires on each side of ballast, remove the wire nuts from the neutral (white) and black (load) and remove ballast. The install is just hooking up the wires you have on each side that are running from your tombstones (doesn’t matter which side to load or neutral just pick) one side typically has 4 wires and the other has 2 wires. Hook up the neutral or load again this doesn’t matter to which side. Neutral (white) to 4 wires and wire nut them together. Load (black) to 2 wires and wire nut them together. Then install bulbs and turn power on and your install is done. I did have one bulb that didn’t work and the seller sent me another one within 2 days. Great service and great product, I would highly recommend.

My husband likes this kit, with a few reservations.
My husband likes this kit, with a few reservations. Here’s what he said about it…1. The kit tombstones (lamp sockets) are slightly narrower than the original tombstones in our fixture. The new ones only fit loosely in the fixture. We couldn’t use the new tombstones. We only discovered the problem after wiring the new tombstones. That error meant learning how to remove the jumper wires.2. To remove a 5-inch jumper wire from a tombstone: Twist the wire (or spin the tombstone on the wire). You might have to apply light outward pressure on the wire (but not much, or the wire will snap). Twisting the wire is easy, and causes less wear and tear than trying (futilely) to jerk the wire out.3. In our fixture, there are two groups of two lamps, with a wide space between the groups. (Ballasts and wiring fit into this space.) The space is about 4.5 inches wide. For this reason, the kit jumper is barely long enough to bridge the gap. Recommendation to the vendor: Please lengthen one white and one black jumper by 3 inches!4. In our fixture, the house power feeds from one end of the fixture. For this reason, we only needed the white, 48-inch jumper and a stub from the black wire. We’ll save the remaining black wire for the next installation. Thanks for including both jumpers in the kit.# # # The instructions omit some useful installation points… # # #5. Before installing lamps, stick down the two WARNING labels. These labels should go on the surface of the fixture, near the tombstones, on the SAME SIDE of the fixture. (We installed both labels near to the neutral tombstones, just beyond the white jumper wires. The idea is that an installer will insert all four tubes from the same side of the fixture. He or she will then have two chances to see the lamp-type warnings.)6. Before installing a lamp: Remove the white, plastic end caps that protect the end pins. (Also check for damage to the end pins.) Remove the mylar strip over the light-emitting surface of the tube.7. The lamps are polarized. When installing a tube: Insert the ‘-‘ end of the tube into its tombstone. The correct tombstone will be on the ‘-‘ side of the fixture. (Neutral, or WHITE wiring). How to recognize the ‘-‘ side of the tube: The end of the tube with WRITING on it faces the WHITE jumper wires. The ‘WRITING’ end of each tube must face the same way. (That is, toward the WHITE jumpers.)8. Unlike the case with a fluorescent tube: Light only projects from one surface of each LED tube. The GRAY, or striped surface of each LED tube must face upward. Meanwhile, the clear, or LED surface must face downward (toward the floor).

Very Nice Lights, Easy Install
I was tired of the noisy fluorescent lamps in my garage that were losing their brightness. I ordered this kit and it arrived in 3 days. It was very easy to install. Remove the ballast, remove the old lamp holders, cut the power wire and install the new lamp holders. Then run the new wires, the jumper wires, and you are done. The seller gives you plenty of wire but the short jumper wires were too short. I used the excess wire from the main feed line and had plenty. Overall it takes about 20 minutes to remove the old parts and install the new. The new lights are very bright and they can be replaced if they go out.

Great idea for lighting
I had my handyman install these, and he said it was easy. One of the 4 tubes was damaged, seemingly burned out, when we opened the package. This seller IMMEDIATELY replaced the damaged tube, with no hitches at all. Highly recommend going to LED< and this seller. I will be buying more of these, and plan to convert the other fluorescent bulbs to LED lights.

Easy retrofit
Straightforward retrofit for my old 4x 4-tube inset light assembly. I left the old ballasts and wiring inside the assembly and just replaced the tombstones and wiring. Inserted the LED tubes and within 10minutes I was enjoying the efficient and bright light.

Less Will Work
The Good: Received as described and was not very difficult to hookup. I have a 4 light assembly in my kitchen and I'm overall satisfied with the replacement kit.The Bad: The only problem I had and complaint is the directions are pretty much garbage and if not for YouTube, it probably would have been much more difficult to hookup. What I learned: If your tombstones are over all in good shape, you don't need the whole kit. Purchase the bulbs only like these in the kit that have the connection on each end. Connect the hot wire (Usually black) to all wires on one side, connect the neutral wire (Usually white) to all wires on the opposite side, install the bulbs and you are good to go. Duh! Most importantly, don’t forget to cut off the power.

No support available!!! DON’T BUY
I received a retrofit conversion kit from Orilis Lighting. Of the 4ea 4’ LED Tubes, 2 don’t work. They don’t light up at all. 50% failure rate is not acceptable. Numerous calls, voice messages etc. resulted in phone support being discontinued. I never got to speak to a person. Now their web site is gone. Emails are returned with a “domain cannot be found” message. It appears this is a sell and scoot company.
