Great replacement battery
We bought this to replace the battery in the gps in our side by side. Definitely worth the price.

It doesn't work
The Garmin Alpha T-100 controller does not recognize this battery. It says "Battery must be installed to operate". I've tried lots of times and the battery is fully charged. But it won't send a signal to the collar although it does show the position of the collar. So you can't send a tone or stimulus to the dog. The original battery works fine and I wanted this as a spare but it isn't functional.

Works fine
This battery works fine in my Garmin Alpha 100. The only issue is the unit does not recognize that the battery is installed. It keeps displaying a notice to install the battery. So I can't really tell how much Power I have remaining in the battery. I charge the battery before every use. It has never run out of power with me using it all day. It is my backup battery which I continously swap to keep them both charged. Otherwise the battery is fine.

DOES NOT WORK IN ALPHA 100 AS STATED
It is clearly stated in the title that this is a replacement battery for the Garmin Alpha 100. As you can see in picture it does power the gps up, however that’s about all it does. The alpha 100 does not recognize the battery so you can’t add collars or use any functions of it. I have another alpha 100, so I swapped batteries to ensure it wasn’t the handheld and “the handheld requires a battery to transmit” message followed the battery. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM IF YOU ARE NEEDING A REPLACEMENT BATTERY FOR YOUR GARMIN ALPHA 100, SEE PHOTO OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU DO!!!

Lousy battery
Battery used as a replacement in my Garmin Montana GPS. Only used a few times and battery stopped taking a charge. Absolute junk.

Grabage
The original 1960mAh battery in my Garmin lasted a minimum of 26 hours. This bigger 2200mAh battery is dead after 12 hours and it won't charge off an Anker battery pack.

Will not work in a garmin. Software prevents it
Product is not compatible with garmin OS. Unit does not recognize the battery and gives a warning
