MerrellMen's Trail Glove 5 Sneaker

I bought these in the hope that they would give a similar running experience to my Merrell Vapour Glove 4s, but with slightly more durability (my Vapour Gloves, although excellent, are wearing down in the sole FAST...). As soon as i started running in the Trail Gloves, i knew that they weren't for me. They are far closer in feel to a normal running shoe (with very noticeable arch support) and i felt myself reverting back to my former style of running, as opposed to the barefoot style i have recently adopted, which has been hugely beneficial to my knees. I was considering returning the Trail Gloves to Amazon, but luckily i discovered how good they were as a pair of dog walking shoes (which i was in the market for). Very lightweight, very comfortable and once the arch support beds in, a slightly more comfortable alternative to 100% barefoot shoes. So, great to walk in, not great as a pair of barefoot running shoes!

Okay I have a few pairs of Merrell’s never had this type before they are a lot more rigid than the normal barefoot Merrell’s when your walking around in them they feel a bit weird but that being said I did not buy them to walk around in and I think they will be very well suited to running on rougher ground I will update when I have put a few miles on them overall I’m very happy with my purchase love my Merrell’s

Very comfortable and lightweight. Soles are thin enough that you can feel the ground but still provide protection. Wore a hole in my old Trail Gloves after 2 years and I think I will be happy to do the same in these.

Bought as a gift. Recipient thrilled as they are so comfortable and fit true to size. In my opinion they look better than the photo and the colour on the toes in more subtle than the photo which is good.

Superb, comfy, light to wear.
