The electricity between these two was off the chart and that did not detract at all from the complicated murder mystery that they start to investigate. There were so much drama and danger mixed into the undeniable pull that was there between the two of them it became a highly addictive story. I couldn't put it down and ignored everyone and everything in order to find out what was happening next. There were times in the story when I was broken-hearted for them and times when I was overjoyed. Well written and very easy to understand and feel. Contains some sexual content.

I was sceptical about whether I’d enjoy this genre as I’ve not read one before and I really enjoyed it. It was really gripping at the start, it did get a little slow for me halfway through but if you stick with it you won’t be disappointed at all as it picks up again. The only thing I would’ve liked was an epilogue as it doesn’t feel like their chapter has properly closed but other than that I loved it. It’s the first book I’ve read from this author and I really enjoyed it. I read this book as an ARC.

I really enjoyed this book. Delia isn't your ordinary witch and Mark turns out not to be ordinary security either. To start with I really wasn't sure about the main characters but as their stories came out and their humour appeared they grew on me.The story itself and the cast of characters pull you in. I definitely want to read more.I received an ARC of this book and am leaving an honest and unbiased review.

There was great chemistry between Delia, a Legacy witch and former helicopter pilot Mark, and the story was engrossing and full of intriguing connections between different times. All the Donovan sisters were great characters, and I can see that this is a series I'm going to be avidly following.
