It all seems simple until the last hit the queen has ordered Zaida to carry out in exchange for her freedom is Zimm. Everything is about to get really complicated.I loved this book. It was almost possible to touch the sexual chemistry between Zaida and Zimm. There were a whole load of dramatic moments there, and definitely times when my heart was in my mouth just hoping and wishing that everything was going to turn out alright. I definitely read this book to the exclusion of normal life at times I was so addicted to the story. Well written and easy to read and feel, you will not regret reading this story. I just can't wait to see what is going to happen next.

I received a free digital arc of the book via Hidden Gems, the author also provided the first two books so I could catch up.I really enjoyed this one, watching Zaida and Zimm flirt with their oush and pull was great and I loved how it intertwined seamlessly with the overall story arc of Revelare and The Senate. I am very intrigued to see where that storyline goes.I really like the characters with their own quirks powers ans uses withing the team. I love how Hawk really disliked Zaida, it shows something you don't see often... Normally the characters all flirt around with hating each other and end up best friends, where as i think Hawk is always going to have that hate with Zaida and i am all for it.I loved seeing a little background for Zimm, with Diego, it's a shame it wasn't more. I loved watching Zaida use her powers on the russian gangsters, it was a little look into how her powers worked.. I love a good siren and this siren is a total badass.I am definitely going to look out for the next book and other books by the author.

Never a boring moment, with a rapidly approaching deadline (literally) it felt like everything good was going to come crashing down at any moment.This is a very engaging Supernatural thriller, mysteries explained and more questions raised. The action is relentlessly rapid. I grew more and more attached to a siren responsible for countless deaths, what is wrong with me, and couldn’t have been happier or more alarmed when her romance finally blossomed. The sex scenes, while not pornographic, were filthy hot, but still imminent catastrophe was looming. A massive plot twist near the end gives a much needed reprieve, and the cliff hanger at the end means there’s a lot more to come. I haven’t read the first two books in the series, but was able to join the dots up without the back story, so now I’ll have to read them too! Brilliant story of non-human good against evil, rather too much evil, at times, it felt like the good were outnumbered and doomed to failure. There were also a few comedy moments that made me smile.

This is a brilliant read.Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable.Great suspense and action with wonderful world building.Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.Recommend reading.I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
