Works
I picked this up to look at my trail camera SD cards out in the woods on my phone it took me a minute to find out how to get the photos to show up because when you put the card in the reader do you have to go into your Photos and choose import are going to Camera and choose import but it wasn’t just plug-in they pop up when you put the card in you have to go look for them in your photos I believe and then either import and preview and then import but it does work and the photos came up and I’m seeing wildlife

I have a number of these type devices but this one is the best by far
I have a number of these type devices probably of all possible types. All worked but required Plug-ins for Total Commander, my favorite by far, or other file managers but this one did not require a plug-in or special permissions, etc. I just plugged it into the Moto phone's usb C port, and the SD card just showed on in Total Commander just like the SD card that I had inserted into the phone's memory card slot. Actually, just amazing that it just worked like it should. Plus the unit is very well built and a great value. Lastly, I like the type that uses a short cord, like this one, since the other I have that don't use a cord , which might seem more attractive, sometimes take up too much space blocking adjacent ports or have trouble with cases. Given the price, this unit is no brainer. (actually, I would be tempted to but several so I could just keep the micro SD cards in the adapter so as to keep them getting lost or accidently eaten. The main downside is if your PC or laptop does not have a usb C port. If so, they a type that has a usb c jack on one end and a usb 2/3 jack on the other is best, (or get one of each).

It works!
I have tried at least 5 different readers. This is the most dependable and easy to use. Just go to the iPhone photo app and import.Sturdy and simple. (I have an iPhone 10.)

That you can understand what you have to do with the item and how to get it to work.
Haven’t been able to get it to work as yet there are noinstructions on how to use the item.I’ve plugged it into my iPad/iPhone and there’s nothing to say as to what to do next so I haven’t been able to transfer any photos from my card to my iPad or laptop or iPhone.

Wrong type
It is for an apple, not for my use. Have had to buy an adapter.

It works, but very slowly
Just tried this out for the first time so can't attest the durability/longevity (yet). Maybe my card has too much on it or maybe it's the iOS import tool but it took soooooo long for the reader to load all of the pictures on the card (there are a lot). Basically it has to load ALL the pictures before you can start to import them to your phone - again maybe it's an Apple issue but the reader transfer speed must be pretty slow. Otherwise it's fine I guess, going to slim down my card.
