David Sanborn Saxophone Play-Along Volume 8 Book/Online Audio (Hal Leonard Saxophone Play-along, 8)

Great book, a bit too advanced for beginner to intermediate players. Still struggling with some of the faster songs and will for quite some time. I've been playing a little over a year. But still, love to have something to work on. Love the back tracks!

The transcriptions are great (ie accurate) but of course, it's SANBORN so you really have to have a great technique etc. to fully pull off these numbers. Still, it's great to have something to work towards - in a few years maybe! Many (I for one) still struggle with the altissimo register for example, whilst he makes it sound so effortless.

Gift for my husband. He loves it.

Very challenging and that's what I was looking for! Not for beginners.
