Great for ports
I am an infusion nurse and this has helped greatly with a few patients who have sensitive skin. I like to use this on central lines so the patients skin is protected under the tegaderm. One patient comes twice in one week every four weeks for her infusions- her skin would be raw from repeated port dressing applications/changes within a few days. Once I started using this product before applying the tegaderm her skin really improved. She would dread her infusion days because of the pain of her skin, even crying but now it’s no big deal and her skin stays intact and pain-free!

Nothing better for frequent dressing changes!
As an RN, I have used this product for decades. It is great as a skin protectant and to help tape adhere to skin. Tip...for very sensitive or thin, fragile skin, apply one coat, allow it to dry completely, then apply a second coat. WARNING: it really stings on open areas because it is alcohol based. Fan it until it is dry.Bonus trick from and old nurse: Always pull the skin away from the tape, NEVER the tape away from the skin.

Confused
These wipes were recommended by Dexcom for skin reactions to their adhesive, so I thought I would start with the worst adhesive for me, the Omnipod insulin pump. These wipes seem to cause the worst of all situations —the edge of the Omnipod adhesive pad lifted before the end of the three days, and when I removed the pod, the center of the adhesive pad stuck to my skin so badly that it pulled some skin off. And my skin still itched. I just don't understand what these are for.

Very good to preserve sensitive skin around taped or bandaged wounds.
Suggested by my doctor for repairing skin between changing large band aids to cover open wounds. Keeps skin clean. Remove old bandage & wipe skin / taped areas around wound. It may sting for a second if you have open, damaged skin. Let dry completely before adding new bandage.

Great skin prep
Great skin prep! As a nurse, I have been using it for years. Wish it were a bit more affordable but happy with quality. I use it with Duoderm for 3+ day adhesion.
