Storm Deluxe Shammy Brown

My son loves this shammy. He wanted one that was leather but not black. He tends to lose the black ones as they blend in with the surroundings at bowling alleys. So far so good, he's had it a few months now.

I’ve only used the shammy for 6 games so far. I haven’t noticed much difference between using this shammy and a microfiber towel. With that said, the shammy grabs more onto the ball I’m wiping than the oil itself. Maybe it’s the coverstocks on my balls (Storm Intense and Storm Mix for spare.) whether my hand is in the mitt or just trying to grasp the shammy from the outside I’m barely able to get the shammy to glide on the surface. It just sticks. And it’s much worse if you use a ball cleaner at end of your games. Unless there’s some sort of break-in period and this gets better, I can see myself just sticking with microfiber towels.

The product looks worn and the packaging looks like it’s years old. It is in a large ziploc-type bag which is yellowed and dingy (almost like it’s dusty). And, the ziploc doesn’t even close. I was planning on giving this to my son as a present. But, due to the condition of this product, I think I’ll just give it to him.

I bought this for my wife's birthday a couple of months ago, so I can't return it. On its first use last night the inner lining started to come apart. The inner lining is made from thin foam plastic.

Enjoy using this shammy even though lining started falling apart after one game and has been completely removed by second day of practice! Works great for as is removes oil and dirt between shots. Wondering how to clean it!

Perfect for League and Tournament play.

I’ve had several other leather shammy from different brands and by far this is the best one it cleans better than many others and is worth the money
