Filter does not stay in place.Arrived as an open box. Very disappointed with product quality and the fact it arrived in an open box.

Gesucht hatte ich eigentlich einen Wasserkocher mit mdst. zwei Liter Fassungsvermögen und mdst. 2200 Watt Leistung: für mich ziemlich unverständlich, GIBT es sowas NICHT mehr, ausser in Versionen mit "Glas"-Körper: das sind die welche man mehrmals monatlich ausführlich mit Essig- oder Zitronensäure behandeln/reinigen muss, damit sie nicht völlig verdrecken/verkalken (obwohl wir grundsätzlich nur gefiltertes Wasser verwenden!) - und die trotzdem ständig Sch...se, verschmiert, verkalkt, oxidiert aussehen.Warum die offenbar so beliebt sind: nicht nachvollziehbar.Früher gab es auch 2-Liter-/2500 Watt- Versionen mit Kunststoff-, Metall- Ummantelung: warum nicht mehr, bleibt ein Rätsel.Dieses Modell war die einzige Alternative - und: es gibt sie in Deutschland nicht ... Deutsche lassen sich halt gern verar...en.Aus UK (schnell!) geliefert, leider mit entsprechendem Stecker, so dass noch ein Adapter her musste.Zwar nur 1,7 Liter, dafür aber 3000 Watt, das kocht rasend schnell, da kann man das fehlende Volumen ausgleichen.Dennoch zwei negative Punkte: die Einfüllöffnung ist recht klein, so dass es häufig beim Einfüllen (aus dem Wasserfilter) daneben tropft. Es würde schon reichen, wenn der Deckel beim Öffnen weiter auf gehen würde.UND: das Kabel ist mal wieder eine Katastrophe, viel zu kurz, aber das ist ja mittlerweile bei etlichen Geräten so. So liegt das Kabel häufig im Weg, man kann es nicht so legen, dass es nicht stört.Der Kocher sieht aber wenigstens sehr gut aus.Allein im Vergleich zu allen anderen - Hunderten ! - hier angebotenen Geräten, die alle mehr oder weniger gleich sind, kein Hersteller wagt mal etwas oder DENKT mal NACH ...! , kann ich hier "4 Sterne" vergeben. Alle anderen Geräte sind noch deutlich unpraktischer, unbrauchbar, hässlicher.Der "Freie Markt" funktioniert nur, wenn Hersteller/ Produzenten/ Designer (und Käufer ...!!) ihre Freiheit auch SINNVOLL *nutzen* ...

I purchased this Russell Hobbs kettle to replace my old kettle when it stopped working. It's actually the exact same model of kettle that I had previously which had lasted for 6 years and took some heavy use. I was really pleased with it so decided just to replace it with the same model.It's a stylish kettle with a mixture of high gloss and matte finish which makes it look more expensive than it actually is and fits in with the look of my other appliances.It's plastic which makes it lightweight, which is good since I have hypermobile joints in my hand so don't have the strength for a heavy kettle. This kettle would also suit those with arthritic hands for the same reason. The handle is joined to the body of the kettle at both ends, which also helps with the handling of it. Despite being plastic however, it is very durable.The kettle sits on a 360° base making it suitable for both right and let handed use. The water level window is also suitable for both right and left handed users as it is viewable from both sides of the kettle and shows markers for 2,4 or 6 cups and the maximum level.of 1.7L. This also makes it easy to see how much water you are filling the kettle with, but there are also markers inside if you prefer to use those.There is a push button to open the lid and an ideal pour spout which I have always found to work well with little to no spillage. There is also a removable limescale filter in the spout that can be popped out with the little clip, rinsed under the tap and replaced.When switched on, the on/off switch will be lit up and the kettle will automatically switch off once it has boiled which is handy since I always seem to be doing ten jobs at once and don't have time to keep an eye on the kettle. For the same reason I like that the kettle is rapid boil as I'm always short of time but I do love a cup of tea, several a day actually.It's not the quietest of kettles but it's also not too loud either and being able to boil just enough water for the amount of cups you want makes it energy efficient.I'm more than happy with it and if this model of kettle is still around whenever this one decides to quit on me, I will probably just buy the exact same model again. For such a good price I can't fault it.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto in Italia e mi è arrivato con la spina inglese quindi per me è impossibile utilizzarlo. Per via del Covid non faccio neanche il reso perché alla posta c’è troppa gente.
