It touched on a few of my favorite bible stories. In fact as a bride I laid at my husband's feet all night to show him my love for him like he was Boaz. Funny how those stories impact us and make our souls better, and endure through happy times and tribulations.

FOX News anchor Shannon Bream wrote a book about the women who are not as well known as they should be and this summary is an excellent presentation of the highlights Ms. Bream's work. Included are discussion questions and brief quizzes. If you're time crunched and are looking for a quick version of the subject matter or want to check out content to see if it's worth buying the actual work, this is an excellent book for you.

This study and discussion guide is easy to follow and gets down to the basics of Shannon Bream’s book “Women of the Bible Speak”. It would easily be incorporated into a Women’s Bible Study, Sunday school, or other educational venue on women in the Bible. The author tied the bigger themes of the Bible for Christian Women to take away and apply in their daily lives. The questions and answers form a template for a Bible Study teacher to use in formulating additional questions. Enjoyable and easy to understand.

This book was insightful and showed the roles women had in the Bible and how God utilized them in important decisions. Of course, God stated that a woman is to never lead a congregation, for this is solely a man's position. But even with this in mind, the author demonstrated just how women also played important roles and decisions within the Bible.Most of all, it showed that women can have the same faith and fortitude, just as the men who leaned on the hope of God and Christ.
