Ultralight but needs extra layers
This is exactly what I wanted as it weighs very little. I think it actually weighs less than the 408g advertised.I have been using it in Ireland in November and December and have managed many a good nights sleep despite very cold wind chills and rain. I have been pairing it with the regular snugpak bivvy bag which is waterproof but not insulated. In the future I will try it with a sol escape bivvy bag which has a thermal lining. I think this will bring up the internal bag temperature. At the moment I line the bag with my clothes and wear thermals to bed. Over the course of a night the bag quite effectively traps body heat.Alone this sleeping bag would not be good but it is possible to keep warm by layering up and using a bivvy bag. Even with a bivvy bag however, the overall weight is still very low. If ultralight is your goal then this is a great budget go-to.

Very light and cosy
Although this was very warm and lightweight I found that it was too tight a fit with no wiggle room and so returned it

Ultralight!
This bag is exactly as described. So very light! It is indeed the AegisMax and not Newdoar as advertised. On my scale, in the stuff sack it weighed exactly 1.025 lbs. Impressive. This will be used specifically on my backpacking and canoe circuit trips. I am taking it out to test this weekend. Night time forecasted to be 0°C in Coastal Western Canada. Let's see how it does.
