This is a Japanese Product, made in Thailand. For Hobby (i.e. RC cars) and Crafts (Gundam Modeling).Love it on the package indicating use this pliers for RC car Turnbuckles hahahha GREAT STUFF! Very good idea, I don't need to buy different turnbuckle wrenches anymore! and wont' scuff or marring the metal.And this has replacement tips! I tell you they can wear out fast depending on use. I dont' need to find / buy the Tamiya nylon tip pliers and it's replacements anymore and with Rip off prices!! This is going to be my goto plastic tip pliers from now on! accessible in Canada.

Disappointing, to be honest - while these are plastic jaws, they are a hard slippery plastic and won't grip small rounded parts at all. Back to covering stuff with masking tape I guess. I can see them being useful for some jobs, so I will hang onto them, but don't buy if you need grip on small slippery or rounded parts.

These are exactly what I was looking for. I bought the extra plastic inserts just to have them. The overall mechanism is decent quality, unlike much of the import tools that are out there. Not quite German Knipex quality but pretty close.
