Worth every Penny!
Meet Bad Dog Bella! If you’re shopping for this product and reading this review, I assume you have a chronic barker like I once had. I bought this collar for my 9-year-old yellow lab who barked just to bark day and night. This was the solution I have been looking for! I had used regular shock collars, but did not like hassel of having to catch her in the act and take it on and off due the prongs. Not to mention they just learn to not bark when the collar is on. We’ve had this collar for three months now and it has worked perfectly. I like that the box sits flush with the collar (No prongs!!) and offers a progression of correction. The voice command works like a charm. I am not sure if it has triggered the beep or vibrate since the first couple of days of having it. We also have another large dog in the yard who barks only when necessary. I was concerned that his BIG bark, would trigger it and punish her unnecessarily. However, I have it set to the highest setting and it only sounds when she actually barks, even when she’s close to him. I do leave this on her most of the time. It is scuffed and scratched and super dirty (she’s a digger but that’s another topic) and it still works well. So far the battery life seems great. I’ve only charged it twice in 3 months. Even if it died I would buy this every month just because it WORKS!!!

Good for bark stop
First and foremost, program the collar and make changes to programs when the collar is NOT on the dog, unless you enjoy scaring the heck out of your dog. Secondly use the quietest and gentlest setting that gives them pause to reconsider their behavior. My dog’s favorite trick was to run out the dog door to her run and start barking just as I settled into bed. This stopped the behavior instantly. The first bark gets a verbal warning “Maggie no bark!” The second bark gets the verbal and a low vibration, and the third bark get a noise and a medium vibration.I only used the collar twice and she is cured. . You use the app to program or act as a remote. But the collar has to be very close to use the app and connect to the collar. The collar functions independently as programed whether it is connected to the phone app or not. I don’t leave the collar on my dog when I’m not home. Im afraid it will malfunction. It can be very harsh. Please be careful. You can program the number of barks before correction. The loudness of the barks before correction. And the vibration level and sound it produces. I use it to stop barking. I don’t want to confuse her by trying to stop other behaviors yet.

I'm impressed. It actually works.
I have to say that I was skeptical that this product would help our dog, as we have spent hundreds of dollars, not including the obedience training classes, on various bark dog collars over the years without success. The kicker was when we got an anonymous "Dear Neighbor" letter in our mailbox complaining that our dog was becoming a nuisance. My dog, let's call him "O", since he is an Outcast right now, has been wearing the collar for 1 month, and, even though it has not been miraculous like described by other reviewers, it has definitely reduced the annoying, prolonged, loud barking events. The bark record tells me that he is still barking, but stops after 1-2 barks. And, the frequency of his barking is getting less. I think the voice commands, including my husband's voice, get his attention. The app easily connects to the collar data when they are in close proximity. Also the collar stays charged for several days. I also like the fact that this is a "no shock" collar. So, no, the collar has not eliminated all barking, but it has definitely made our lives (and our neighbors) better. Also, I think "0" is happier and less anxious now that he can go outside and enjoy the sunshine.

Worthless!
This collar works on Bluetooth and only has about a 50ft range. It doesn’t work automatically like most bark collars. It requires that you use the app on your phone to manually deliver the correction, and then only when you are within blue tooth and WiFi range. Since the phone app automatically closes if you don’t activate the collar regularly. This means that when the dog barks, you need to relocate and open the app, then deliver the correction, which is a couple steps into the app. Anyone familiar with dog training knows that timing your correction within 30 seconds is essential, and I can’t reopen the app that quickly. Many times the dog had stopped barking before I get to the spot in the app where I can use it. I only gave it one star because it won’t let you leave a no star review. This is a total waste of money and time. Pass this one by!

Best solution to a barking dog!
worked instantly! loved being able to record my voice and that you can set number of barks and volume of barks before the collar tells the dog off. My dog Maggie stopped barking in a couple of days. Still barks when the situation warrants it because I set for a low bark to be ignored and she can bark 3 times before the collar will tell her to be quiet.

Great for my dogs
I purchased 2 types of these the shock one and one without. These have been great and have immediately stopped my guys from barking when I'm not home (loud enough for people to hear). They still bark but it's more of a huff as to not set the collar off. It's only a bandaid solution however I haven't used the shock function yet I just use the voice recorded command and the vibration which luckily is enough for my 2. I would not recommend utilising the shock function when you are not home as my dogs collar does warn him quite often just from shaking his head, it's a little unfortunate but my girl doesn't have any issues. As you can see in my pic I have made an improvement to my girls collar it's just a stretchy cat collar instead for comfort. I haven't done it to my boys collar because he has the 2 prongs at the end and I'm not sure if it will work yet...While I don't have a use for the use of the shock or stim I may utilise it in the future if it is up to standard. This would be the only way to actually fix the barking however for anyone reading once your dog associates the collar with receiving the correction it won't do much to stop the behaviour when the collar is off. I just recommend this purely for your general barking dog that isn't very stubborn.

High hopes, but DOA
The media could not be loaded. I had high hopes for this. I disliked the idea of the collars that shock the animal, even when they say it is mild. This claimed to just use noise and vibrations, was automatic and adjustable via a bluetooth app. It was not cheap, but sounded perfect. When it arrived though sadly I was one of the unlucky ones (sort the reviews by rating and you'll see a number of other people who have had issues). The packaging was excellent - a very solid box sealed by cellophane and with firm foam inside protecting the device itself. Inside was the collar and device, plus instruction pamphlet and micro usb charging cable. The device was dead flat, so put it on charge as described in the manual. Total weight for the device including the collar was just under 70g, so not too bad. Physically it's fairly large so might be too awkward for a very small dog, although in theory you would just want to keep it on the dog for short periods anyhow until it's learnt not to bark so much.Once it had charged it up, I tried to connect to it via the app and it just failed. I tried with three different mobiles (two android and one iPhone) and the same result - the phone would see the bluetooth device, it would start to connect, but then stop at "request network" screen. See the video if you want. Following the instructions for a hard reset, and it did not vibrate as described. In fact it did not vibrate or make a single noise - ever - on or off the dog. It was as quiet as I wanted my dog to be.So, it's a useless piece of e-waste sadly. Rather than letting me just smash it with a hammer and bin it, Amazon now want me to go through the environmentally wasteful process of packing it up and sending it from Australia back to the USA (where no doubt it will be thrown into a crate and sold in bulk for a few cents) before I can get a refund which may or may not cover the cost of packaging and shipping.
