Elinchrom 70cm Softlite 64 Degree Reflector with Deflector Set - Silver (EL26167)

This dish has a wonderful quality of light. I was initially concerned that I should have bought the larger size, but after it arrived my fears were gone. I have a small studio and larger would have been a bit of an issue. But regardless of my studio size, this has been wonderful for head shots and 3/4 shots. Very efficient light output that gives a gorgeous quality to the skin and cheekbones.Additionally, having the extra diffusers with it makes for some fantastic options! I normally use the frost reflector and the sock (extra, but worth it) when shooting ladies. I have used it quite well with men as well. For men, I use the frost or the silver (for a bit more punch or specular highlighting). The gold reflector is great if you need to warm up the light a bit.If you are considering it, go for it!

I bought this to go on my Freelite A attached to a Ranger RX AS Control Unit. The very first series of photos I took of my model with this "beauty dish" are, in a word, PHENOMENAL. The light reflected by this unit wraps the model and makes her POP off the page. Even though she is backed up against the background, instead of being separated by a few feet, she is completely separated from the background.Beyond that, the lighting quality and distribution is incredible. I AM TOTALLY happy with this unit--had seen it in a DVD done by Will Crockett and I am now a total and complete fanatic believer in this tool, especially for fully lit glamour type shots.Expensive but PRICELESS!

I read all the rave reviews so I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I will join the club and say I love this beauty dish. It looks like a freaking satellite dish and my girlfriend thinks I'm nuts to spend this much on "a metal salad bowl". But do what I did, stop calculating, and just look at the quality of light, and then you won't even think twice about the price tag. Btw, I tried these with elinchrom 600rx's

I had ordered this product as well as the translucent deflector based up on the statement that only gold and silver are included. In fact, white and translucent deflectors are included too! I definitely prefer a white beauty dish as opposed to silver in most situations. This is far better quality than the aftermarket ones you see from third-party/off-brand vendors. Buy Elinchrom! You get what you pay for!

comes with a full set of different reflects. Gold / Silver / While / Transparent.First one came damaged.. Was not round (had a flat spot). Exchanged it. New one is fully round.Works best with a boom arm.

Spectacular. Really useful and a lot cheaper than the Mola and unlike the sub-$100 ones, this one actually does what it is supposed to do. Recommended.

In combination with white diffuser, the light is very beautiful for portraits. The size is ideal. I'm really happy with the results. Very well done by Elinchrom.

Il pacco è arrivato con un giorno di anticipo rispetto al previsto.L 'unica cosa negativa è che la scatola ha preso acqua ed è arrivata come si vede nelle foto.Il problema è che io uso le scatole per riporre gli oggetti quando non li uso e mi piace esporle su ripiani perché fanno la loro bella figura e in questo stato non posso farlo. Per il resto il contenuto beauty dish viene spedito con 4 riflettori (oro, argento, bianco e trasparente).

It is a solid Product. I use it to take portraits of people, with my camera. It is one of the most common studio-equipments in that matter.

Excellente qualité. Mais par contre attention que les déflecteurs sont en plastiques :( vous devez donc être en dessous de 100W.
