Wonderful!
Fits great, comfortable. Definitely recommended. However, you do have to buy a hard hat attachment separately & those run about $80 so keep in mind you’ll be spending an additional $80 when ordering. I think it should come with the helmet, but besides that it’s a great helmet. My foreman recommended this particular model.

Lightweight
I like how light this helmet is. My neck doesn’t feel fatigued after welding for several hours. Good product for the money.

Will this last like the originals?? -- Lets see if it gets close.
Well as all things eventually die, so did my original Hornell Speedglas. The auto darkening started acting up and new batteries didn't help. Upon farther investigation, I realized it was 30 yrs. old. That "ol boy" will hang in my shop till I'm gone. Sooo, I had ta get another one. The new Kid here is pretty darn nice. It's really something what ya can do with 3D modeling. Anyway, I can only hope 3M can come close to what the "Sweeds" had created for longevity. Only time will tell. Other than that, it's comfortable, light, responsive and looks cool. Cost?? Just ta throw numbers out there, my orig. was $400.00 (fixed shade and sensitivity only) This one, $205 w/some bells and whistles.

Excelent
Excellent high quality welding helmet. This product met every expectation I had and works really well. It has a nice knob actuated head strap easy to operate even with gloves on. I opted for this model over the more expensive one due to the fact that I'm using it in my personal shop not a production facility. But from my understanding the biggest difference between this model and the higher priced on is it only has 2 optical sensors to detect your arc. Unless you are welding in a lot of confined areas and difficult position welds this is not an issue. One of the 2 sensors will always be able to "see" the arc for anyone doing conventional welds, (flat, table top, overhead, etc.)

Pure Awesome Welding Hood!!!!!!
This is easily the best welding helmet i’ve Ever used! And I’ve used many over the years, whether I’ve owned them or tried a fellow coworkers just to try it out! It’s extremely light weight! Highly adjustable head gear! The hood stays up when want it up and down when you want it down! Another thing I really like about this welding hood is that when you’re not welding the light stage is a shade 3 instead of a shade 5 so you can see better before you strike an arc! I highly recommend this welding hood!..

Very Last Helment you will buy - Need no other
Although I'm only an occasional welder I like the ability to vary the shade and response to dark sensitivity. The clarity and viewing area is outstanding and will put my other helmets to shame. My only drawback is that I forget to turn it on because of infrequent use. It has a minimum shade built in so I have never been flash burned because of my failure to turn it on. It was like being the subject of a close camera flash with no damage. I do know what it's like to be flash burned with a cheap helmet. A good helmet like this will save a Dr. visit. This is the least expensive helmet on the market. Buy this one first and you will never desire another. You will also not waste any money on cheaper helmets, like I did.

wasnt impressed
used 10 min, sent back. i could see much better with this installed in an old fixed lens mask i had laying around.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MTZFSHN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1the clarity on the tefuawe was much better, especially before striking the arc. . also, with the 3M, the lens is quite a distance from your eyes, making the viewing area smaller , almost like a peep hole. couldnt justify the 200 cost.
