These puzzles are so cute. They are fairly small, but the pieces are so colorful. They are wooden and they come stacked in a box. You also get a cloth sack to keep them in if you like. There are more than a few pieces with each puzzle, so a 12 month old child would need some help putting it together. The pieces fit into a wooden framed piece. These puzzles are a nice toy that a child can grow older with.

Purchased for my grand daughter who loves puzzles. I wound up taking pictures of the in tact puzzle. She looks at the picture on my phone and then can complete the puzzle. Without the pictures, it was a bit of a challenge for her.

Well made and fun to play with.

These puzzle are not great for small kids. It's not simple enough for a child that is developing motorskills.
