Compression Socks (3 Pairs) for Men Circulation 20-30 mmhg Medical Compression Stockings Women Nursing

I've unfortunately had large varicose veins on my left leg since suffering an injury years ago. They are quite unsightly and oftentimes painful! Someone once told be about compression socks to manage them, but I always dismissed the idea. For I immediately envisioned those cumbersome, flesh coloured medical stockings the hospitals prescribe and so didn't want anything to do with them! But of course, as the problems with my veins continued to persist it became more of a "needs must" moment. So once I started looking on Amazon I quickly discovered that actually there are some very practical and fairly stylish options available. I might just be vain (no pun intended) but I don't see why in modern times we can't have more aesthetic items, even if they are mostly for treating injury or illness. Anyway, these particular compression socks really caught my eye. They are like something you often see athletes wearing on the track. So after buying two packs (6 pairs) and wearing them for a few months I can finally leave a more detailed review:The fit is really good... Once you break them in that is. As they can be quite tight fitting (more than would be expected) on their first wear. But not to worry as this soon resolves itself, especially after their first wash. In regards to washing I found that leaving out fabric softener can help maintain their elasticity. The material itself is very hard wearing but comfortable! One of my top concerns with buying compression socks was if they would suffer the same fate as normal socks; the dreaded toe / heel holes! But so far after daily use, both at work and at home, and by rotating the order in which I wear each pair they have remained most resilient. Another concern was breathability, especially in the warmer weather. But again, even while at work wearing thick trousers and heavy work boots, I've not noticed any real increase in temperature. Mostly because the material is very stretchy and breathable, allowing air to flow through quite admirably; my leg hairs even poke through! Finally I was concerned that they would start to sag and roll down my legs over time and I'd spend the whole day hitching them up! Particularly as they fit the best just below the knee, even though they can stretch a little higher. But even while this does actually happen to a small extent, requiring you to give them a little tug back into place. It's nothing major and most importantly, isn't going to affect their function, as they remain tight on the parts that matter most.Ultimately they are good looking compression socks built for an active lifestyle. Giving you the compression you need without feeling like a pair of old socks. For me the price is reasonable for what you get, but of course that's a matter of personal preference.

I ordered these socks as a last resort before making an appointment to see my gp. I work nights sat at a desk. I work out and eat healthy but my desk job gives me water retention in my lower legs and calves to the point they become hard. I don’t have this issue when I’m not working. So I thought I’d try these compression socks and I wish I’d bought them sooner. The sizing chart is accurate as I naturally have big calves so I thought it would be an issue. It wasn’t. the material quality is great and I can tell these will wash well. They were surprisingly easy to get on and i wore them last night at work and when I got home my calves were soft instead of rock hard. My jeans were not uncomfortably tight due to the usual swelling that I didn’t have. I had a little water retention just above my ankle area but it didn’t spread to my calves. I’m very happy indeed and will order more pairs and wear them every shift from now on. I wish I’d come across these 4 years ago but better late than never.

I was immediately impressed with the finish of these socks. Besides the striking patterns, they are made of a stronger thicker material so less likely to snag and ladder. I am wearing the largest size and they are comfortable fit. They don’t slide down like other compression socks.There is one thing to watch out for. The woven pattern indents the skin so it can be a bit of a shock when one takes them off. My skin recovers within an hour or so but do be aware of this.

Good fit, XXL is spot on (size 9), comfortable and not too tight.

XXL; size UK10-10.5 shoe; calf muscles of a man who cycles occasionally and walks a lot. Foot fits great but leg shape is a poor fit to mine and compresses unevenly, resulting in discomfort. Returned. Material seems of good quality and I'm a bit disappointed they don't fit tbh.

Overall very pleased with these socks. They are comfortable to wear and since receiving them have had no issues with DVT symptoms that they were bought to help with. I have just re-ordered which says i all.

Working well to keep fluid in legs down. Good compression and will cover my fat calf muscles. Would have preferred then to be all black or all white so i can wear then with a dress without negative comment.

All 3 pairs arrived in great time and packaging. Very long, looks very well made, no holes . I'm size 7 foot so ordered the L/XL they fit nicely. No trouble getting them on or off, they are not as tight in the ankles as I was expecting. I have bulky varicose veins in the back of my right leg, so I thought I'd try these sock compressions.. I already have some but without the sock part, they felt alot tighter. But will give this a go at work. They do feel just like football socks, so if you do have some in your draw, try them first and it will give you a feeling of what these are like. I'm giving 4 stars at the moment, but could change depending how comfy they are wearing all day at work
