A great poncho for the rainy hikes. A bit heavy but it’s not a huge problem

I live in wet tropics (FNQ in Australia) and this is a great option to stay dry without the excessive heat that accumulates from wearing a jacket, due to the Poncho’s ultra loose fit, allowing humid air to easily escape. Frogs Toggs Ponchos are great value for money, and they use environmentally friendly materials. There is no toxic PFAS or PFC chemicals used in their making, so even better for you, your family & the planet’s health! And equally important, the poncho has robust, durable construction. I envisage this will last a long time - as backed by other user’s comments on its durability (unlike my last past poncho made by a different manufacturer and only lasted 2 days 7 was junk). The Frogs Toggs poncho is well built & made to last. The best value poncho on the market IMHO.

上下のレインウェアは持ってはいますが、梅雨は蒸れるので購入。 収納サイズは20cm×15cm×4cm程、成人男性の少し開いた手を想像すると良いかもしれません。 200gちょっととかなり軽いですがちょっとかさばる感じはします。 軽い山歩きなんかのお守りには良いと思います。上下雨着とザックカバーを省略できるので軽量化には寄与すると思います。 雨天時未使用、試着した感想です。 柔らかいですが多少ごわつきます。 裏地は不織布なのでベタつく感じはしません。 またキャップ等つばのある帽子をかぶらないとフードが顔まで掛かってしまいました。 町中で着るにはちょっと野暮ったいかな？普段カバンに入れて折り畳み傘の代わりにするのはちょっと違う感じです。 上下雨着を着るほどでもないような時、気温が高い時期なんかは重宝するかと思います。 ただし、飽く迄も簡易雨具です。肘から先、膝下はカバーされません。
