As advertised and came quickly. I replaced the faulty ones and was back in business.

I was replacing a set of really poor, cheap pots, so these didn't have to be gold-plated to be a lot better. But I'm impressed with the build quality and performance of these. Very consistent, all bends and crimps accurate and smooth. The friction-feedback from the knobs is almost perfect - not hard to turn, not loose, just a good solid feel that says "yes, I'm turning, and I'll stay right where you set me". I bought a set of four, and I always test before installing parts like this, in this case just the ohms between the ends and also the ohms at the business connection when turning from max to min. All performed flawlessly; for my four "500K" pots the ohms were 428K, 463K, 434K and 515K --- all well within the +/- 20% specification. The shafts are 6mm, 18-spline version (same as what I was replacing). Slightly difficult getting my knobs on the shafts, but that's a lot better than having them too loose.

Re-wired my LP Custom Koa from Epiphone and removed the push pulls and PCB. Replaced with these.Only problem I had was getting the solder to stick to the back of the pots even with sanding and using flux, but these things took heat like a champ, I didn't have to drill out the holes for them to fit and they work great!

I replaced the stock pots after they got scratchy and had dead spots. Shaft diameter and length matched and the stock knobs fit. Only minor challenge was a raised tab on the pot that might be there to keep it from spinning by embedding itself in the wood, but I chose to just bend it back. Both volume pots are working great and feel a little more serious than the stock pots because they have more turning resistance. Took about half hour to swap them in. I'm still buying that new bass though, cause you know, I *need* it ....

They work well

The biggest advantage Alpha has is the feel of the shaft turning. It feels like quality. Thick and sturdy... just enough dampening to keep you from over spinning past your desired mark. No play or wobble like the plastic shaft cheap ones. These are the best.
