Excellent book. Superb pictures with 360 degree view.
Loved the book at first glance. Lovely pics and the 360 deg view if the asanas makes it easy to understand and follow. The extensive detailing and the postures for ailments is very useful. Only problem was with packaging . It's a hard bound book and pretty heavy. It came in a regular plastic cover ( no extra care) Definitely dropped / thrown about in transit . The spine of the hard cover is damaged. Will have to ask for replacement. It worth having and referring to a one grows into the practice.

Good on detail
This is an excellent resource for yoga practitioners. I use it to plan my sequences and to remind me how to do the poses we have done in class. The book has high quality photos and detailed explanations of the main Iyengar asanas. It also has pre planned pictorial sequences that can be done to strengthen different parts of the body. I would recommend it for both beginners and intermediate.

One of the best yoga books on the market
This is an amazing book. It explains so much about the asanas, both from the perspective of specific ailments as well as different regions of the body you might need to work on. The pictures are extremely well done, with very good perspectives on the postures for optimal alignment. I like that the models are not all "Yoga Barbies" and actually look like real people.
