Performs well and feels robust
I originally purchased Tacwise nail gun to nail mouldings around laminate flooring which it did quite well but only after many attempts on some scrap material first, I found it better if I removed the plastic nail head protector and pushed quite hard on to the trim with the gun, but still be prepared to tap each nail home to get the head flush, I think my problem was due to the shape of the scotia moulding. I have used the Tacwise since on flat softwood and it worked fine with no problems nailing flush, The Tacwise corded nail gun performs well and feels robustI would recommend using Tacwise nails and brads to prevent the gun from jamming, I tried using my old stock of 3rd party nails resulting in the gun jamming regularly, with Tacwise nails this was not a problem.A minor issue with this Tacwise corded nail gun is the electrical cord being too short in length to use without an extension cable for most jobs. Overall the Tacwise for me was a good choice when considering both overall functionality and price.

One Thing Lets it Down
This nail gun is OK. As I use a nail gun rarely, I didn't want to spend a lot of money so selected this nail gun mainly on low price. It is definitely reasonable value for money but I can only give it an 'OK' review. The reason for only 3 stars is there is a small rubber cap that protects the end of the nail gun from damaging the wood when you press down ready to fire a nail. Well this keeps coming off and becomes really annoying having to put it back on every time. This is more prevalent when you are trying to nail in an awkward position such as when you cant get the nail gun completely vertical eg. close to a wall.A shame really as apart from that, it is a perfectly good nail gun.

No bargain, but good enough for jobs requiring a lot of lightweight tacking.
No bargain, but I found this to be more than adequate for tacking 18mm floorboards in the attic. However, bear in mind that I was looking for a solution that would allow relatively easy lifting of boards later: the rather small heads and thin nails are good for this, whilst being solid enough to keep the boards from shifting. But if you are looking for a more substantial and permanent joint, these tacks may not be enough. Their thinness makes them easy to flex and remove, so I would not recommend this for a job that requires them to support a lot of weight vertically (e.g. vertical stud work).Use is very straightforward: you load in the tacks in glued strips rather like you'd load up a stapler. A power button on the base ensures you're able to avoid negligent discharge, but with safety in mind, it is always best to unplug when not in use. A removable rubber tip is supposed to prevent nails from penetrating too deeply, but I found I kept it permanently off. Being lightweight, the recoil even with the rubber tip off means some tacks may still show 2mm proud, requiring a hammer to finish off: remember to put some weight behind the gun and you should avoid this.So for light jobs (e.g. tacking wood trim and lightweight panels), where you're likely to need a lot of tacking, this is fine. However, at this price, be sure that the job you have in mind warrants the outlay (i.e. you're going to be putting in hundreds of tacks).

very impressive
I needed a nail gun quickly as my old battery one finally died. I have to say that the nail gun has exceeded all of my expectations and works really well. I have been using 10mm and 20mm nails and have not had a sing failure. whilst fitting the beading around two rooms as well as making some fitted furniture. Can highly recommend. The only issue is the length of the mains lead which could do with being about 1m longer but its not a big issue.

As expected...sigh.
I got my hopes up thinking this would be powerful enough to help me tack 1/2" BIRCH plywood boxes together but it isn't. No matter how much pressure you put on the gun (with two hands) the Brad is left sticking out about 4mm...which led to me learning another valuable lesson - don't hammer in what remains! Duh..brads are so thin they just fold over. This is good if you need a spare set of hands or working predominantly with soft wood...which is what I'd read from other reviews and so it is. 3 stars.
