Well the original one listed on HP website is waaaay much more expensive. When I received this one, I compared it to my original that came with my HP laptop.This is NOT a replacement charger for me. Rather, I needed a duplicate to keep one in my travel bag. Since I have had it for a while, I honestly forgot which is the one I bought and the original.That is the good news. When something like things works so well that you forgettaboutit, well you know you bought the right product. There really is nothing else to say. This charger is straightforward and does what it's designed to do" charge.I would definitely buy another one from the same seller if I ever needed an additional one. I don't think the one I bought will wear out, but since I buy used laptops now and then, I am always in need of a spare charger or two.

Our new puppy that we rescued from the cold decided that he wanted to chew up the power cord that came from the brand new laptop that my son-in-law bought for me. Alas yes this power cord saved the day and now I can use my new laptop.

Took a bit to find one that had enough power to charge my big laptop, has been working well for a year now. I'd buy it again

This was purchased as a secondary power cord for my spouse's new HP laptop. It works as expected. He uses the laptop so much that he keeps the extra cord in the living room.It is the OEM power cord for his laptop. I was under the impression that I had to purchase an additional wall plug. The listing here implied that you only got the adapter part. However, we received the entire unit (both pieces). Now I have an extra wall plug piece I do not need. Oh well. With cats, you never know what cord will get chewed through next.***For those who think the reviews on this site may be rigged....Please note: I Do Not receive any discounts for my reviews. The power adapter is great but you really have to pay attention to the description and read all of it. The power cord comes with it but is NOT pictured with it. I didn't realize that and bought an extra power cord. Our dogs chewed the adapter side of my power cord so I was hoping to buy the adapter only. Now I have two extra power cords. Also, the power cord shown in a separate picture is not the kind I need. Thank goodness I didn't see it before I ordered it. I ended up getting exactly what I needed..... plus an extra power cord. In my opinion the picture should have shown exactly what comes with it, all in the same picture. It would have saved me an extra $ 10 bucks.

I needed to get a new power cable for my laptop as my air conditioner had dripped a puddle of water on the adapter and it had stopped working. The adapter had a part number on it, I looked it up on Amazon and found it. The new cable is identical to the original, it fits snugly into the jack on the computer. The cable charges just as well as the original that came with my computer. I haven't had any problems with it yet and don't anticipate any. The only caution is to make sure that you get the correct power cord for your computer as they don't necessarily have cross compatibility.

Great replacement charger, stands up to the daily wear and tear of a travelling Chromebook

It's a different product that the original. I thought it was 65W but it's only 45W so every time I open the laptop it says that it's connected to a less powerful charger and the performances can be affected. At least it is smaller and lighter so I will keep it for travel

Works perfectly on my HP Notebook laptop and has lasted for 4 years so far with no issues

Only used as my travel pack so not used as much but it's nice and compact and works well. After 6 months I'll review again but for now, perfect power pack for an HP Notebook 15 series laptop

Works as a good replacement for the original HP charger. Been using for 2 months now with no problem.
