'Love these as a snack to bring to work. These are made from SOLID meat, not the chipped-chopped-pressed style of jerky, so they are relatively low in fat, with a total of 70 calories I believe. (They are a tad salty, so if you are watching your sodium intake you may need to look at the Nutrition Information panel before buying.) And they work out WAAAAY cheaper than buying them in gas stations on road trips. So try to plan ahead and have these in the car BEFORE you head out on a road trip. They're also a crush proof snack and travel well. I have ordered 5 boxes now, and will continue to keep a box on hand at all times.

If your going out into the woods for Camping or Hiking or just putting together a PREPPERS Kit them you should have this in it. Filling and satisfying and tasty with a long self life. Great for Bug Out bags in additions to MRE's. Preppers should have these on hand. And if your going into the woods for the day then Absolutely Carry some of these with you. In a Pinch they get rid of that Hunger you get after a few hours communing with nature.

This is a close second to my all-time favorite, Jack Links Beef Steakhouse Steaks, which is the filet mignon of beef jerky. They're very similar in taste and price, but the Steakhouse edges out this one oh so slightly. Still pretty awesome jerky, very tender, and not a hint of fat or gristle. Bon appetit!

I really like this product. It has a good taste, and provides what I consider to be a good amount of protein with relatively low calories. I couldn't find these in 1-ounce packaging at the stores in my area, so it is nice to be able to order it from amazon.

According to my family, these are the best tasting beef sticks. :-)

Not kippered. Just regular crappy jack links. The old trapper brand kippered are 10x better.

Maybe I am too picky, but the jerky have a strong taste of blood, still a good buy for emergency munching though.
