Mini USB Desk Cooler Fan,(Metal Design, Large Air Flow, Quiet Operation), Black

so I purchased 3 of these, they're great for my job as I am able to power them off the unused USB ports on my monitors.1 fan out of the bunch is significantly louder than the other 2 and is not what I would call "ultra-quiet" as the box says. So if you are reading another review of how "this fan is louder than other fans" there is a chance the other users got a poorly made fan that rattles more than it should.The other 2 fans I received are very quiet. And I have had no issues with.All 3 fans blow air perfectly well. They are about as strong as those souvenir battery powered fans you get at theme parks, maybe a little stronger.Would I recommend this product? Yes, and if you are unlucky and get a loud fan and the noise bothers you, try and return it, because the 2 properly made fans i received are very quiet.Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the 1 fan that is a bit louder than the other 2. However, I realize it's an inexpensive fan, and I'm perfectly happy with it (you get what you pay for). I don't want to bother returning.

This item was described as quiet. It is extremely noisy. I had bought another fan like this about 4 years ago and it was very quiet...that original vendor was no longer offering the fan to reorder and this one looked like it and description was almost identical, although with a different vendor. The casing enclosing the fan was very thin and much cheaper looking than my first one. I am going to throw out and order something different. It wasn't much more than 10 dollars, so not worth the effort to go through the return process.

We have 4. His and hers for the coffee table in the living room. We also have one in the kitchen which is used to dry our butcher block counter after use. And, one we take when we travel as it is compact enough for carry on suitcase.They are very quiet! 4 stars because they have USB cables, but not the wall charging plug. That is the only drawback.

Fan pushes a ton of air for the size. Takes about 500mah to run, not metered, it was plugged into a power supply that can only supply 500mah and it ran just fine. On a 10,000mah USB battery bank, it should get about 20 hours of run time, great for power outages. Fan is made of mostly metal, and has no branding anywhere. The rubber feet on mine where floating in the box it came in. I just plopped them where I thought they should go. I have ran it non-stop for 2 weeks on a mains USB power supply in my office. It didn't give up. It has a power switch on the back of the fan. There is no low and high, just on and off.I can't think of any cons for this item. It blows more air than expected, and in my current testing, it is pretty sturdy! Will update if this changes.

Not sturdy enough on its own. When the fan is in, it moves and knocks so much, I have to have a towel underneath to support it. It's fallen off the desk so many times because it moves due to the vibration, that it no longer can be focused in a certain direction. It just blows upwards now. Disappointing!

Air flow is good. When you are really hot it can help with some air flow.Noise .. well who doesn't like a really loud fan!! Meaning, it isn't loud but then what is Loud?So why 3 stars???I think the cord might be bad. Have to move the USB around more than anyone would be willing without an issue to get it to run... so is this bad product or bum luck?? Does it matter?Some would say 1 star is enough when you spend more time getting it run for the amount of time needed for it run for pleasure

One of my worst purchases on amazon. This is an extremely poorly made and loud fan.

Wasn't working well when I got first got it. After opening it up, the motor wasn't fixed in place. After supergluing it in place, it started working just fine. Actually better than I thought it would. My brother didn't have a fan, so he would come into my room at night and plug in this fan and would go to sleep. I already had a big fan, so I let him use it in his room. He's been using it every night since. Good product after fixing it yourself.
